You can, [alt]+5 numpad.
I have tested it. You can move into a stair (same square) with normal movement, then use the alt+5 to climb it.

Yeah, Chainmail inside, the Platemail outside. make resistance again sword,spear,arrow, even mace (but not hammer, it will destroy the plate)

For Massive, I mean 7*7 local tiles of them (how many stone needed for them?)
Sacrifice the Goblins, err, butterflies on the top! Let their blood fall to the ground!
Even better if you get the "demons" out so your adventurer could fight to the death to the top!

From what I've heard only one of them matters, though that may be weapons.
Yeah, you could use only the first weapon you equipped.
However all your armor and shield stack.

The two-humped ones can live ANYWHERE. From Canada to South Africa.
However the one humped ones only lives with the Arabs. There are no wild community of one-humped camels. Hmm, I wonder why?

The only need to re-gen is if you delete or add a new unit,matgloss,metal,etc. If you just change it, you wouldn't need to regen
However it is advised to delete data/object after modding. The game will transfer the modded raws to the object folder on the startup of DwarfFortress.exe

There is a catch. Your Uber-Dwarves are dependent on alcohol, but they won't drink it, so they will be slower the longer they are in your fortress.
