You should have just kept him as your resident gladiator. Thrown in some of his precious booze and food barrels every once in a while to keep him alive. Throw in about 50 gobs.

Check your leader/treaders job by pressing 'u' or 'j' or by pressing 'v' and placing the cursor over him (press 'g' if it shows his  wounds/labors/inventory). If he's 'Trading at depot' he's not doing anything useful until you're ready to trade. Set the trade depot to 'No trader required at depot' to free him up to meet with the liaison. If he's 'Conducting Meeting' he's meeting with the liaison and you'll get a talking screen pop up eventually.

Also, the dropped bins may be waiting to be hauled back to the stockpile since they got dropped. You should check the jobs screen ('j') and press 'v' with a hauling labor selected to check if they're waiting for the bin to be hauled back to the stockpile instead of to the depot.

It's Veterinary. Not Vetinari. Or vetinary, which isn't a word actually used to mean anything AFAIK.  ;)

Rule of thumb, if the red squiggly line appears under a word while posting, right click it and see if you're using the right spelling. Use the spell checker with caution when using names of things from myth or fiction. Like manticore.

I'm not sure what I'll do with them now. I have a bottomless pit on my fort, I guess I could throw them in... but lately my main 'business' seems to be selling goblin clothes to traders. I haven't 'sold' any of my dwarven goods in years, because I kill so many goblins and they all wear giant spider silk clothes. But I don't suppose I can give a "Kill this caged guy!" order, can I?

Dump their items from the stocks screen. Then do with them as you please. This lets you filter through their clothes for GCS silk and iron items too. They can take the rest of their junk to their final destination... Just don't forget to deactivate your chasm/volcano garbage dump activity zones.

In fact, if you dump all their weapons and armor, they'd be fairly harmless and usable for combat practice.

Be careful with this one.  To kill all those people while knuckle-walking everywhere, he's got to be hardcore.  The taunts definitely help too.  I'm imagining a parapalegic giant strangling people and killing a guy by falling on him.

I do believe he killed all those people before receiving his crippling injury.

Crabs shouldn't have bones. Non-vermin crabs shouldn't have the [HASSHELL] tag, it's covered by the [CHITIN] tag. Since shells don't work quite right for non-vermin creatures right now.

And spider crabs should still have meat. You'd be surprised how much meat something that spindly can have. In fact the wiki page you put there talks about the japanese eating spider crabs.

You could since 39a, you just get a notification now.

Also, w00t! New version! Like the expanded screen! Causes some problems with blackspace turned on, so i just left it off.
