The best friends
Tommelson and Dowers both are proud of themselves for the creation of their first ever rifle. With cheers hollering out in their small workshop amongst their workers when they try it out on the small test range they have behind the building. They had the brains to cut it in this market, they knew it, but Dowers would notice certain issues in their infancy. Small shavings of the delicate innards when sand or dirt got sprinkled in, the odd "stick" of the bolt when left to the elements for too long. While small here in the workshop, such things would be devistating in the field. A revision was needed to address these issues, damn the price. They had the workings of an amazing rifle, they knew it, they just needed to shake the bugs out of it. Meanwhile, while Dowers started to write up a revision to fix the issues, Tommelson worked out a bid for a contract. One that seemed perfect for their rifle with
The United Triad of the Adriatic. The shop-workers start up the first ammo line to start producing shipments of 8x45mm Cartridges for the order.

The first rifle the two best friends, Tommelson and Dowers, ever designed. The LSR-28 is a rifle meant for mobile troops such as scouts or pathfinders who need to cut down on overall weight without sacrificing too much in the firepower department. It is 7.75lbs with a total length of 130cm , it features a notched-knob style rear sight that could be zeroed for 50m to 500m, with each turn of the zeroing knob being a 25 meter increment allowing for precise and accurate shots. It also comes with a 12rnd capacity internal magazine fed via two 6rnd stipper clips, its increased capacity partially thanks to slightly smaller caliber. TD-MWP went for the lighter caliber to calm both inner and external worries of a large caliber risking catastrophic and dangerous failures of the straight-pull bolt-action system they wish to implement.
Current Bugs and Issues:
1. The magazine spring is prone to wearing out if left full for extended periods of time (especially in warm weather), so it's advised to only fully-load the weapon prior to immediate use.
2. Maintenance and reliability are a nightmare.
3. The fine inner workings (delicate to cut weight) are prone to jamming from nearly any amount of dirt, and disassembling the weapon can really only be done at an armory with the spread of specialized tools required.
4. The straight-pull bolt is designed specifically to prevent mis-firings, but can be quite stiff to cycle and damn near impossible to remove for cleaning.
5. There's no place for a scope to be mounted, and doing so after-market would involve drilling into the wooden furniture.
6. The price-point of this rifle reflects the precise, light nature it was designed with, making it quite expensive to field
