I have a conundrum.
I want to transfer a bunch of old files from my old computer to my new one.
Old computer is OS X 10.3.9 and new one is Windows 7.
I don't have a USB flash or hard drive and no way to create a direct uplink between the two.
Furthermore, my old mac does not show up on the network of my new computer.
Would there be a way to link the two, possibly via direct ethernet to my router?
I believe they have samba for OS X, take a look at that.

It's running on my 64 bit vista windowed. And it's on GoG for around $6!
Didn't GoG die like a month ago? They had this sad page about lack of support or something.
It was a really bad PR stunt.
That's exactly what it looks like. Meh, I've never been too fond of gog anyway.

Jews have this annual memorial for everyone who's passed away, and today it was my grandfather's memorial. Visiting his grave and all was pretty sad, but later we all met at my grandmother's house, had dinner, and met some folks I haven't seen for quite a while. She invited some relatives over I didn't even know existed (Apparently my great uncle has another daughter, who knew?), some Italians that I was sure still lived in Italy, and other people I haven't met in ages. It was really cool, but it's too bad we get to see these guys at memorials only.

My favorite professor is teaching a scary, scary class I need to graduate, so I have to study... also, I'm trying to get some writing published.

Waitwaitwaitwaitwait. Wait. You're a super math genius. What class could possibly scare you?
Poetry?

Spanish tourists?
I demand you rename the topic to "Hey guys, Czech this out."
They sells hats like that in Prague, in fact, I have one on my desk right now. Also, those are pretty damn awesome effects they have there, I'd love to see the real thing.

In other news, I crushed the school's silly PSAT without studying at all today. If the real SAT is anything like this and every other state test I've taken, it'll be child's play.
We take PETs, which I hear are quite the headache. I had a Hebrew exam today, three fucking hours of reading comprehension, grammar, and some other nonsense. Anyway, I've never taken a three hour test before, so the idea had me spooked. Nobody really needed all the time they gave, I was out after about an hour and half. It went well, but you can never know.

"Please deinterleave ROM."
Where the hell did you get that from? An emulator?
My ASS.
I assume it's a snes rom? Try this.
Yeah, it's pretty obvious what the problem is and how to deal with it, I just thought it sounded funny.
Yes it is funny, what emulator gave you that?

If not you're any good with Linux, and are still wondering where your extensions are, why do you even bother using it? I mean, Windows just works, you don't need to "port" anything, why fight with an OS if you aren't going to use any of it's unique features?
