I've been in the ship editor for a bit designing a new sensor ship when I noticed a "Pivot Point" button. Anyone know what the advantage of a pivot point is?
If it works the way I think it does then I might be able to actually make a rotating space battery!
I created a test character with Awsemumumum.... fighter jet people; but it was for testing mostly. (failed testing)
Where should I join up when my game is PLAYABLE?
The test character is Matz... no Idea how he looks. Graphics glitches.

Also which one of you empires is the least technologically advanced, I really don't want to start out in some empire with tl20 stuff or whatever.

Our empires are a bit too scattered for now, that's why this thread is quite dead.
But our efforts should be to find trade routes & ferry routes around the empires of TAC.
Also, gather Technology and help the alliance to tech up.
So should we actually use this thread to keep people updated on our empires?
Do the Borgs/admin races control absolutely all sectors outside the closer ones? Did anyone actually ever try to, say, aim into empty space and keep the engine going for many hours until they are 4-5 or more sectors away from the main area?
Hmm.. here's a question for y'all:
in my ship design it says under "Crew" that I have: 1 officer station, 6 crew station, and 1 driver
What is the driver, and what kind of berth would they take - officer or crew?
Driver and Pilots appear when you add a ground or air/space vehicle.
They don't need berths, since who drive/pilot them is your Troops, and you probably already set those berths up.
It's not a requirement to have a driver or a pilot ready, only if you will really put a Troop on it (like a fighter bay, etc)
