Deleted overly aggressive arguments...

I think I am not interested in this discussion...

My votes are
Generic, cheap, simple unarmed truck

Ask German guys to design our first byplane based on German WW1 designs but armed with our 20mm and adapted to our industry

When you're clearing a building, you know what's better than 1 SMG and 4 rifles in a squad? Five SMGs in a squad. Same thing when assaulting trenches or in the jungles. All-machine gun squads aren't practical, but SMG squads certainly are.
We have carabines, we have shotguns.

If we want more resources, all we have to do is revise a new steam engine to let our trains carry more resources.
truck is plain better for this role. Of course normal plain truck, not one with a machinegun attached. Also not only we want resources, we want deny enemy resources (read get those mountain mines)

Ok, we have to revise our SMG and make it cheap. It's our only chance if we want to stand up to Moskurg in the near future. If they fully replace their lever-action rifles with SMGs, they could take the Jungle completely in one year and it'll be difficult to eject them.
Yawns. Small-arms obsession is still here... We can revise motorbike to be more reliable, more all-terrain and carry 20mm gaining nice edge in jungle.

We can design light tank that can operate here. Or light artillery. or landmines. Or many other things to negate their better (maybe) short range infantry vs infantry fighting. Wars aren't won with smallarms.

I suggest to go for a mountain howitzer and a truck for designs and fix the motorbike during revision should above designs bring no problems.
We need to win mountains to make their armour more expensive and we need more resources for ourself.

Yep, no need to remove the carabine from production

And I still don't see much advantage in cheap SMG. All SMG squads aren't practical

GUNINANRUNIN

a) Heavier shell doesn't mean longer range\higher velocity in all cases. It depends on length of the barrel, % of propellant in shells , aerodynamics and more factors
b) Your shell may be shorter than ours and be smaller. There are a reason why shells described as xxmm*xxmm
c) Fun fact: when USSR decided what gun to use for the new version of T-34 both 57mm and 85mm were considered. 57mm offered better penetration but 85 mm offered way larger HE shell and it was chosen because of that.

To be honest I think both our guns are mixed field gun\howitzer

Rather meh revision but after a nice 20mm autocannon I don't complain.

I really prefer to go simple and get a truck next turn unless some "react now" kind of disaster will happen.

Review the carbine so it's a full-sized battle rifle and make it more reliable.

Spoiler: proposals (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: votes (click to show/hide)

We need to appease small arms fans :D. To be more serious - it should benefit mountains front, while motorbike will do nothing for mountains.

Please, lets design a simple truck next turn.

Looks like we got very good rolls here. No obvious problems...

As for revisions. Variants I like

1) Revise motorbike fixing it frame, and upgrading the sidecar to carry AS-AC18.
2) Good old attempt to make the SMG cheaper. IMO, API is not something that can be integrated in already existing
3) Trying to replace steam engines with diesels for our trains
4) Improving carabines (good for mountain front)
5) Developing a sniper version of nosin.

I think we are attempting to do a gun that weights 30-50 kg without carriage.

Something like this : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hispano-Suiza_HS.404 or this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MG_FF_cannon or more primitive - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Becker_Type_M2_20_mm_cannon

Damn I got a vote after I decided to delete it to not delay final decision. :D

I change my vote to 20 mm autocannon to stop the discussion. It  means five votes for it and unless miracle will happen AS-AC18\AS-AC18-20 wins

Lets hope that it will be useful for holding plains

Unless the bolded part was you switching the vote to the autocannon, Ukrainian ranger?
Nope. I would post updated vote count if I did.

Nevermind.....
