Armok detests cage traps and non-violent solutions.
But surely he's pleased by the use of cage traps for the use of 'relocating' said subjects to an area where the blood producing capabilities are greater?

I am currently gathering the green people and a few humans for the purpose of making some 'hallowed' ground in the temple for the great God

It seemed to me that a large amount of stones lagged me down, But that might just have been me.
If you do not mind cheating you can edit creature_standard.txt in the raws, Add [SPEED:1] under dwarves and you've got yourself physics breaking underlings.

So we have this... Benevolent? Malevolent? Michiveous?, God.
Puplic opinion now guys, What is he now? What does he like and why?
From reading forums it seems to me that Armok likes red stuff, blood, bauxite, magma & ruby. How about cinnabar & hideroot red? Is really the lowest value color and substitute light red rock acceptable?
Does he enjoy all bloodshed or just his foes? I mean, sacrifical fluffy wamblers does not sound like it will please any god. How does he consider the death of his subjects?

Debate people!

Oh, and slightly off subject. What kind of decor should i stuff my armok temple with? Got plenty silver, aluminium and steel

Gotta try that. I'm just gonna burn their cloth off then turn it back to normal.
It's no fun playing with magma without all the accidents.

Tried editing creature_standard, making dwarves fixtemp 25000 and some other copypasta from SoF. Didn't seem to work as they died from magma. Question is if the changes affected a active save or if i have to gen a new world.

Yeah, i thought of that a little earlier today but i'm still curious how to achieve my first plan.
Oh, and by using a door, will it be the same as using a floodgate but whithout the delay?

To forcibliy get rid of their clothing i was thinking of editing dwarves to high temperature, let the cloth combust, laught a bit at their nudity and then provide my mastercrafted dyed silk cloth, all for uniformity.
Question is if the temp can be edited in an active world and if something might bug. i dont want dwarves going about their busniess in burning clothes, however cool it would have been, as other things are rather flammable

Get Cheatengine or some other memoryhook tool.
By finding the embark points adress you can add more points so that you've got enough for an anvil.

I tried to do like the example with the floodgate on the wiki but the state of the Levler seemed to override the pressure plate so it did not help.
In some of my tried i got it to stop but i did not see how i managed do do it and it was not when i wanted it to stop.

Never toyed with them before but understood the concept, or so i thought.
So i have a pump attached to gears and axles driven by windmills and i want it to not pump at fluid(magma) level 0-4.
When fluid reaches 5 or more i want the gear to engage and thus start the pump.
I set it up as i thought it would work but apparantly it did not. And now after some tries i went nuts and instead set a testing ground.
One gear - one plate. first plate at 0-4, second at 5-7, both reset.
I poured water in both and nothing happened, so i drained them. Nothing again.
It being a logic function means i simply messed up somewhere so now i ask here for someone that knows how to fix it.
