Turn of invaders and play in a good biome. And if you've aint got no aggressive animals on the map the only deaths you should be having would be to caveins or starvation.

Yeah i get that on the plastics too.. er no, i mean, the texture on the top obviously was cloned even though i thought it was supposed to be like that. but if one looks closely on the other parts one can see that it is mirrored, like the scratches and notches near the barrel exit. It simply isnt just as noticable.
also, if the model is mirrored that means you've got boltlocks(?) on both sides

Round the edges on the front grip and make it slightly wider than the gun. to improve the texturing you could try making shadows by darkening some small areas. eg. on the clip where it's inserted in the gun or the surface connecting to the red area above the grip.
That's atleast what i do to make it look more real when painting the models ^^

There is no need for over 500 bags and i've already gotten rid of atleast 200-300.
Really, the only reason i trade em is because i dont want them to occupy my stockpiles and i dont want the maker to go nuts when i burn them.

Or.....Instead, you have a valuable source of trade goods. Get rid of the coffin, wait for him to rot, and make more bone bolts. Use his skull to make a trade totem.

Isn't that such much better than melting a perfectly good coffin?

Such a bother, totems are rather worthless and i do need to get rid of all the silk bags ive accidentally made... not a good idea to forget to turn of Repeat.
And about melting coffins... after excavating 60000 rocks my masons need something to do ^^

Oh, wait. How do crossbow in weapon traps work? Could you use them?
unfortunately, the same way as any other weapon trap. I rather dissapointed when i found out i cant make a long corridor with full crossbow traps at the end.

I tend to make 3x3 rooms for my dwars so that's even less efficient.
But if you make a stairwell in the center of your housing area and make use of Z levels rather than extending the rooms far out in X & Y direction they will walk less.

Coffins not designated as someones tomb will be occupied by dwarfs in the order they died. Moving the coffin 'undesignates' the inhabitant and if you've got empty coffins he will be moved there instead. corpse or no corpse.

Accidentially figured this out when trying to get rid of the dead migrants that wasn't worthy of being in my masoleum by constructing their coffin above a volcano and then colaps it.
they got magically ported to my masoleum after that >_<

As far as i know swords was to be used by the warrior caste and the plebs was using yari, a long spear, or bows. there are also the polearm naginata. I think only the torso would resemble a platemail as the samurai armors was more like banded mails or linkmail with some chainmail mesh binding it together.
