Yes, you can still have your turn, but it's not the same turn as it was.  You were moved to 'floating', meaning if you let us know you still wanted to play and were here again, we move you to the next spot and shift everyone back a turn - they would have waited for your turn to finish anyway.

So, lordnincompoop is currently (right, lordnin?) playing through and preparing his updates for our totally update starved thread (right, lordnin?).  And if lordnin hasn't actually started yet, perhaps he'll want to let you start this turn instead.  But it's been a couple of days now into lordnin's turn, so I'd bet that he's already started play.

So keep watching, mathlc, and really glad you're back with us!  A lost player returned     lordnin's time should end within 1 week (or barely more than a week if he's almost done), so keep checking to see if it's your turn, thanks!

I wanna chant 102 102 102, cause I have gems in place of my eyes and brains, and they're glowing with glee but want to stay free of the king because he isn't trusted in the tower we see.

But we have a debt.  And a danger.  Gobbos will come again and again.  They will impede our trade, but worse, they might give Monom nightmares.  This ain't because the cat wants them dead.  We got a debt to even with that cat before we settle the score we owe that benign fiend.  For Foureyes, may she walk beside us forevermore, the fall of her feet showing imprints in ever so many pools of gobblezoid blood.

Would anyone other than Kipi who is (or who would like to be) still working on their fort for the contest mind mentioning that you are?  Updates are great, and greatest of all it banishes that lonely feeling of 'gee, isn't anyone else with us?'    I'm perfectly willing to score just Moontayle and Kipi if -no one- else wants in.  But really, the more the merrier!

Without sleep, there can be no new creations made.  The elves have claimed a savage price for their murdered kindred; but I would say unto them that the value of a single comic strip be worth a thousand, nay more than ten thousand innocent trees slain in savage agony.

I've no idea, but I suspect that the narrator died of fright and that's the end of the comic, alas.

Unfortunate as the concept of miscarriage is, scaring/stressing the dwarves is almost our only form of in game birth control for them.  Unless you want to picture changing the init files to lower the baby cap as handing out little leather birth control kits, I can see planning a 'scare' for the whole fortress once or twice a year as a means of controling the pop, to me it almost feels dwarfy!

Excellent, Jordrake, and welcome back in.  Your turn falls in line after Burnt Pies, currently 4 people ahead of you (and two floaters, if they pop in and still want their turns).
