Well, your 'spammer' can lure people both ways, you know ;p

I'm an Erandia player of just over a month, my character needed some time to recover from a rather trying experiment, so I hopped onto Google and went to look up anything else Erandia that might catch my eye...

A page or so later, ahh, here.

*much thought, cringing and dismay and later, some amusement.  Particularly over Kagus's comment on the evolution of Denisius's nicknames here*

*more thought.  Some more testing of my character's ability to tolerate my experiments.  Rereading here while the poor thing recovers again.*

*some poking around, what the heck is DF... finding out.  Liking what I see.  Surprise, that it's a solo game... comparing that to my thoughts on the writing and personality styles of some of the posters on this topic here*

*the decision that yes, I'd like to play DF.  And the decision to log in and comment here*

Wonder how many other Erandia players might happen to follow the trail back to your forum here, and discover DF from this?  Sure am glad that the posters on this thread commented as widely as they did - if it had just been bashing of a person I've come to respect, I'd never have looked at what DF was.  What a loss that would have been.
