go to [m]ilitary and then press w.
There you should see A at the far right side.highlight the dwarf you want to give armor to with the arrow keys(up and down) and then use right/left arrow keys to go to A and then press enter untill you get the armor type you want to equip them with.

2. Get some bolts and whips.
3. Go to demon's residence. When you see him, fall back a bit. Meatshield will keep him busy for some time.

*please note that demons have [trAPAVOID]

dunno,should try it,although i imagine they would make lousy safehouses,business fronts and the apartments in downtown are the best.

1)I dont think so.
2)Havent tried,but should be.
3)If you have a business front and change safehouses frequently they might not get raided,downtown departments are also good places to use as safehousses,just rent a room.pretty much the 3 safehouses and the departments are all you can get.

in my world the demon is the highest force and is in alliance with all(so am i),i want to kill it.
it ofcourse lives in 3 dark fortresses that are right next to each other,all three of them have both human and goblin settlers.
Ive tried everything,maybe i should wrestle it?

DF Suggestions / generating the world again after playing it

Imagine what could happen.
Like in adventurer mode lets say you first gen a world in demonic age and the year is 50.You play in it and retire you're adventurer.Now you retire him and continue generating the world from there so you can continue playing with the adventurer or make another adventurer say at the year 100.This gives a whole new level in legendary mode and also after you emptied the original world and after regenning you can return from retirement and do some more awesome stuff.
In dwarf fortress mode you could later come back to youre fortress(thats still being run) or reclaim it a couple hundret years later.
