It's like taking Moby Dick or Hamlet, and adding LEGO dioramas. Blech.
Lego dioramas are pretty original, IMO.
It works for the Bible.

Speaking of dyes, When converting from a color token to the nearest display color, does the game use the default RGB values for the comparison, or does it check the ones defined in colors.txt? Basically, can the displayed color of dyed/colored objects change based on the user's color palette?

If it's not looking through the eyes of the character, it's third-person.

The main drawback is either No Savegames at all (good enough for a starter and for a rogue like). Cope with the size limits you get by HTM5L localStorage (still doable) or go through saving online through AJAX - which is not newbe friendly and requires a special hosting.

If your savegame size is small (which it is likely to be for a first-time roguelike), you could get away with using cookies.

You need to designate a dining hall from one of the tables in order for dwarves to eat there.

Speaking of which:
Do you/are you planning to make a meaningful distinction between a creature's "mind" and their "soul"?

The Power of Play talk went over well enough -- we should have a link once they post it.

Any word on this?

Also, if you have a bunch of 7/7 water with a few 6/7 tiles in it, you can see a definite pattern in the way they move around.

Pretty sure I heard mention of it on the rec.games.roguelike.development newsgroup.

I'm hoping that it turns out that the love triangle is just Tauriel pretending to look like she likes Kili in order to dissuade Legolas.

Not gonna properly green this since it's more along the lines of a suggestion, but:

With all of this new conversation stuff, will there be a way to view what people/places/events our character "knows" about?
