I should be quiet and let the modders work. They know more than I do.

I meant more that 'tall' is an adjective derived from some internal number or numbers... and if those numbers are literally called tallness, then... I'm not sure what to say.
I thought some of the elf adjectives like broad were, in older versions, hardcoded. but we haven't been in that era for ages.
I don't think you can make a dwarf with the adjectives of an elf in vanilla adventure mode, but I could be wrong.

I also thought it was relative to the race doing the examination, since that update.

Is that not the case?

These are derived attributes that come from the average dwarf comparing themselves to the creature. That change happened in a previous version.

Having ghosts spawn in villages and cities would be great actually. they would be inhabited by terrified residents and people under godly affiliation, especially curses.

Many of these would also be great in arena mode and for when arena constructions are added to fortress mode.

Traps like caltrops or disguised channels that catch feet and hurt the goblins or elves would also be great in fortress mode.

Many people burn out, doctoring.

If you can't handle doctoring, you won't make more money.

Will myth and magic include an achievable source of perpetual longevity? My fortresses in older versions evenually loose 10 dwarves every year to old age. It's kind of heartbreaking. I understand that death is to be accepted in dwarf fortress, but it should not be a third of a fortress for no reason, causing the player to abandon their history.

Making a marksdwarf stand by a fortification is incredibly annoying. you'd think they would just stand near it and shoot like a true pro. but no.

The only way to make a marksdwarf stand next to a fortification:
A station command, with a one tile wide walkway, with no possible way to access a path to the outside near it, and be like ten tiles long so the dwarves don't spill out to the nearby area.

Just make a 'man fortification' option, please.

Patrols do not solve this issue, because patrols won't fire their whole quiver, they just hit an enemy, take a potshot, and run away.

Big sea creatures can be trapped, I used that to breed a pair of sea serpents ages ago. (patched out)

I recommend cast obsidian and a completely idle dwarf to pull the lever.
I don't think it's feasible without magma.
if you mess up, you can pull crazy shenanigans dropping obsidian repeatedly into hollow areas to make the area flat again.
but that repair if you miss or mess up takes careful planning and attention to detail though.
I don't know if the snail will still path to obsidian.

In fable 1 and 2, the hero can accumulate various titles, like ranger, liberator, assassin, piemaster.
I want people to know I beat that hill titan out back! And that I eat pies.

My suggestion is that more of the people you meet in a location should use your title.

Of course, this is also the opportunity to go into detail about titles. aka you can talk to the guy who will make you famous in order to spread your title.
(And pay money)

How he convinces a whole village to always use a specific title, the world may never know.

Imagine sharing an adventure mode save, and hearing stories about how a previous adventurer slew a bronze colossus.
