kobold ambushes increase when kobolds are able to pilfer your stuff.
beware, kobolds are trap immune

he could be trapping himself in the building by constructing it
note that cats clamp down on vermin.
also, dark green X's while placing building are impassable.

Can a lever cause some doors to open while at the same flick of the switch: Close other doors?

Furthermore, I attempted to link my lever to a flood gate, however it says I need more mechanisms.  I do have more mechanisms in stock, how do I link em up to the lever.
yes, you can connect one set of doors, then pull the lever to leave them all open while you put in and connect other doors to leave closed.

thus pulling the lever will open one set of doors and close the other
and visa versa

as for connecting levers, the lever itself is 1 mechanism, the connection requires "two more".(one for the lever and one for the floodgate!)

doesn't the infinite loop stockpile cause the item to be caught up in a near infinite stockpile re-arrangement wheren each item is already cued to be moved(like say an anvil) and thus cannot be used to build with?

metals could be slightly more unique,(many metals are just better versions of lower or higher grade metals)
copper-iron-bronze-steel cycle
copper-silver-gold-platinum cycle

like some sort of gold leaf? or tin-lead solder for better windows

the best way to make an army is to attract migrant warrriors who come with their own equipment. you do this, by making the weapons you want to be most popular
(i get crossbowmen and swordsmen because i make bone/wooden bows, and obsidian swords, sometimes the rare axeman)
not sure how to attract wrestlers though

because these swordsmen already have experiance and iron level amour
-injuries are rare.
