It's dark purple. In my mind I see it as being almost black, except when the light hits it

As far as I am aware, most things are black until light hits them. xD

Year 2 would be good; it's personally the best time for a fortress. It's after the rush for survival that is the first year, and is before the seiges, nobles and confusion of the later years. It's literally a newbie's paradise.

Now I'm starting to wonder. Are elves flammable?

Is the spacepope reptilian?

No, that's Raptor Jesus.

You missed the Futurama referance, -1 internets for you.

Also if a Soldier Dwarf picks up an artifact weapon or armour, then they'll never drop it, therefore it's possible for an extremly badass dwarf to wield 8 adamantine maces at once, which could easily make a goblin's torso travel the length of the map.

Put me on the list.

Also, is creating a "Gym" of screw pumps so we can raise the Millitary dwarve's attributes allowed? To be honest, that'd be realistic, they're literaly working out, which is better than making them super-dwarvernly tough via book-keeping.

I'm pretty sure the accuracy was what I was talking about, I never said anything about damage, which is why I said:

"CROSSBOWS THAT NEVER MISS WOULD BE NICE KTHXBYE"

D:

Me getting all these details wrong is probably due to the fact that it's the middle of the night and I haven't slept for 37 hours.

Manafacture twelve bazillion Masterful crossbows, but no bolts. Train all of your soldiers as axe dwarves, assign them crossbows.

DO IT FOR THE LULZ!

If it's a bow or blowgun then just give it to some snooty noble that has a weapon rack. The Legendary Bowyer is what we really want, masterful crossbows which never miss would be quite nice.

Pssst: Build a Bowyers worshop, you'll get a legendary bowyer and an artifact crossbow!
