Ok, I have recently been reading 'Going Postal' By Terry Pratchett and a amazing concept has hit my brain. What if you could send messages to the Dwarves of your civ, asking them for Reinforcements at a Seige or food at a Famine?

The last time there was a mass extinction humans didn't even exist.  We can't know that.  Besides, stuff lives in the ocean.  There's could be something down there that makes methane.

It should probably be more than one year for the sturdier/bigger materials such as wooden logs.

Imagine one that made nests out of steel bars. The fortress of Doom for a Iron Man

In addition to dolphin and whale songs, the ability for particular birds to sing or even talk would be entertaining...e.g. for animals like parrots to be able to have social skills/give wisecracks.

Additionally, pixies/fairies could use some more uniqueness about them aside from just flying around...pixie-dust as a collectable material maybe?

You should be able to talk to the parrots in adventure mode

Oh, that's right; I don't think I've ever seen a map with more than one giant eagle at a time.

Oh well. Maybe that'll change later.

Maybe this could lead to seasonal migrations that take place, suchj as whales with their breeding-feeding migrations. Giant Eagle Mountian Anyone?

Hmm... I don't know but it may have something to do with the babysnatcher being removed that helped to not dip the relations. But these things can happen. Also sometimes a member of another race maybe part of a dwarf civilisation. Once someone had an dwarven (elf) queen.?

Or you know, just have a two Z level chamber with a lever that floods the first level with lava, then another lever that floods the second level, encasing the first in rock and pewpewing the Zombies at the same time.
