Yeah, it's annoying there isn't a forum, though they said in the Hail chat that they didn't expect this amount of players to suddenly join up, so I guess they didn't think there would be any point in having one if they weren't expecting all of us.

I had to start my own empire because I couldn't find the Bay12 one.

It's called Novuu Imperialis. I've just finished the "Tutorial" and I'm lost as to what I'm supposed to do. Suppose I should read the manual?

On the main page, as a background, I saw a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge, I mean planet-orbit-size-huuuuuuuuuuuuuge ring around a star. Not a dyson sphere, but maybe a dyson ring?

There seems to be a few problems with the ranking system. My game crashed, and when I got back in my rank had been reset back to 1 from 25. After googling this in search of a fix, it seems a few other people have had the same problem. And it has no fix. A bit annoyed all my weapons are gone.

This thread inspired me to install this game again, it's been sitting on my desk right in front of me gathering dust for the past year or so. After getting through all of the compatibility issues tied with Vista (Yeah, I'm still using that pile of blegh) I'm enjoying it a lot once again.

From what I can discern from the trailer, looks like you'll make a creature in the spore creature creator then slap on some armour or whathaveyou which will have various powers and effects added to your character, ala fireball/ice etc.

Doesn't look very promising over here. I refuse to get excited until I see actual gameplay.
