Dear Urist McBucketHauler,

I realize that I designated that pond with several zones so more dwarves would dump the water there, and that this might confuse you. That does not, however, excuse taking the water from said pond and then dumping it back in. Get the water from the river, Urist, It's there for a reason.

If you want them to be tougher, I suggest using the metal material template, and still calling it bone. That way they'll be harder to cut.

How do I use powders in reactions? It seems no matter what I do, my reactions simply will not recognize the powders they need.

More specifically; I'm trying to add porcelain into my game. I've already created the Porcelain material with no problem, and now I want to make a reaction that creates porcelain from 1 kaolinite stone, and one bag of sand. The kaolinite stone is no problem, but how do I make the reaction recognize the sand?

Well, I used this method a long time ago, and I'm reasonably sure I didn't just invent it myself. I must have read about it somewhere. Not that that is particularly important...

EDIT: thinking back, I'm pretty sure I saw this method used in a community fortress to drain an ocean, and decided to apply it to a river. It never occured to me that others hadn't thought to do the same.
