Dany isn't immune to fire, it's the dragons that protect her.

Interestingly, Iran did sign that UN thingy wanting to ban nuclear weapons, though that's probably a choice loaded with politics (as it'd be a dig at the US) than actual policy. So, hard to tell if they're actually sincere in not really wanting to build nukes.

I have always thought that Iran wanted to join the club of nations that has the industrial capacity and technology to make nukes but not actually have them.

Japan for example has enough plutonium for thousands of warheads.

The US government has officially threatened DPRK with military intervention, if DRPK continues it's missile tests.

Also, new sanctions against DPRK passed the UN security council unanimously, China nor Russia objected.

Told you Trump was impulsive enough for a war with North Korea to happen.
Nuclear proliferation is worth fighting over, it'd be like Saddam but the WMDs actually exist

You are not wrong though.

North Korea used the political fallout the US had from invading Iraq to get away with testing their first nuclear weapons.

Which makes the Iraq war even more harmful than it already was.

Still medicine prices aren't as straight forward as they seem.

Since only a tiny portion of medicines tested ever reach the market (<10% of medicines that reach the clinical stage) the medicines that do reach the market have to pay for the research costs of those that don't.

Why is there no outrage over it costing 13.50 in the first place? The pill costs 40 cents in the Netherlands. It's almost as if your health department / insurance negotiator / whomever it is that sets healthcare prices really hates people with hiv.

You know, there is a reason most new drugs hit US markets first. Also, isn't the Netherlands the country where they refuse you health care if you have a "terminal" illness? (At least a few of which can be treated in the US via very expensive methods)

I have literally never heard of anything like that happening.

But the funny part of course is that with that statement you are saying that in the US you just won't get care if you are poor.

The funny thing is that I have had this exact same misunderstanding with a German that asked me to get her some lemonade from the store.

She wasn't entirely happy with what I returned with.

But an Italian pizzeria on the exact same spot would be fine?

While yes, Stephen Dillane basically said he didin't really enjoy the show, he also criticized some certain parts of plot burning Shireen and some other things, IIRC, and said he completly didin't understand where his character was even going at that point.
Don't mistake Game Of Thrones as some sort of fan project - it's hardcore money grubbing venture, the actors basically dictate nothing (one of first thing that comes to mind is Maisie Williams saying that the chase was way overblown). They get paid to play, and they play their parts, some of them might enjoy it, some may don't. Dillane is proffesional, he is one of actors who went as far as changing his accent (not by much, but he noticeably mimics Renly's), and if there was more for him to play, he would. But there simply wasn't.

It is true that Stannis in the show acts in a way completely opposite to what Stannis in the book stands for.

Stannis in the book is an extremely rigid person for who law and hierarchy are everything. But he is also an honorable man and would NEVER do what he did in the show.

I guess Braavos stance on slavery is thus a discrepancy between the book and series?

Here's the thing: If you jump into a REALLY high-class (C5 or even C6) you can spend roughly 15 minutes in a gas site with EXTREMELY valuable gas before the rats hit. You can then drop by the NEXT gas site and continue filling your really-inexpensive Venture or possibly a specific gas-huffing frigate.

Define "extremely". I see gas prices for the most valuable gas (fullerite c-320) as being 56 million (buy probably) for a full venture. How long do you take to navigate those wormholes, scan sites and fill up your hold?

I can get more ISK from running one small FW PLEX (15m) under favourable conditions.

I found gas mining pretty disappointing due to the lenghty time needed to find sites and explore the wormholes.

I just hop into a dessy and do some faction warfare in a quiet system and of course another hugely popular alternative is grabbing a navy vexor and going afk ratting.

The situation is only escalating further.

2 Opposition leaders with house arrest made calls for protests against the government and were subsequently arrested.

I don't think any of the countries signing this treaty have any pretense that it is going to convince a single nuclear power.

I think it's just some political jousting.
