Heh, by the time we get to 1.00, it'd be crazy fucking fun, heh, world domination, setting ethical standards, setting up the various attack styles, and army maneuvers, shit is going to be deep and broad, it'd be enough for even the largest of suns to chill out in.

Machinery, tactics, strategies, in-depth astral systems, planets at war, dimensional gates, or windows, if this were to happen, the DSDC would be booming with researchers!

As said before, smoked objects used to be healthier back in the day, it used to be roasted tobacco, and now ( Today ) it's some roasted tobacco, with marijuana, possibly crack, but definetly more nicotine and 100 toxins/dioxins purposely placed into each of those fags.

So dwarves shouldn't really die of smoking that much because in comparison ( and testimony of a person about his smoking grampa ) , it is way healthier at the time of DF, so much so, that it is rare to have a smoking-induced death.

Here is what you do ( the long and effective method ) , hoard all of your tree/animal byproducts into an area of your fort that doesn't get any elf traffic, and buy them out of all of their possessions, and then start to give them tributes.

If you please the elves they'll come back next year as a larger caravan, make sure to stock up on supplies, and troops for D-Day.

After a few years of pleasing them, you should place the depot in a place that is filled with animals remains, and logs.
Be sure to equip a militia with hammers, and place foods and drinks around the depot, make a lock system to make the elves enrage.

It can take you many years to make this set up, so make sure that this depot is inaccessible until it is finished.
When the D-Day comes, lock up the large caravan of elves, and seize all of their goods, after you injure most of the elves set them free, so that they can give their pansy friends a little incentive for them to attack you.

Afterwards you need to continue to displease the elves some more, just that they can get the vibe.


Please elves > They come back as a larger caravan > Stock up on supplies > Prepare nightmare depot > ... Repeat... > Supplies are sufficient > Evil Depot Complete > Open Evil Depot > Large Elven Caravan comes into evil depot > :C > Seize all goods > Lock them up > Enragement > Free the cripples > Elf Civ get's message from cripples > [Insert Displeasement Tactcs] > Repeat > WAR!!!

I have a related question: what happens if you drop the chain one z-level?  Is the 3x3 only on x/y-levels, or does that extend to z-levels as well?
I'm pretty sure the chain would deconstruct.
I read the wiki, and read many elder players' reviews on the restraints.
It is a 3x3x3 region with the restraint as the exact middle.

Here is the design, It may rape the water, so you may to secretly tap a river, and you may need to use a few filters ( pumps ) , and pressure equalizers ( pumps ) .

One of these should be able to power your power hungry fort's demands!

To start it up, apply flow.
