Here is a suggestion, double the size of the GCS Lines.

Or assign GCS to each of the groud troops.
Make a few siege lines which conists of catapults, and stationed crossbow Dwarves.

I made a plan, it comes with a dwarven caging area, an execution area, and a place to put your monsters, that can be opened to release all hell on the arena battle field.

I call it the Armok's Monolith, always flowing with water, to smear the blood all over the monument.

Just make the mechanisms lose power, failure only happens when it is gunked up enough to lose all of the power necessary needed to run it.

There once was a man-eating catfish in an asian artificial lake, it was as bigger than a man!

There is no 'Diplomacy'* , no way to be able to be rid of anyone, without the citizens from magically knowing.

There are no intrinsic abilities, nor are there any extrinsic abilities.

No boats, no basic** steam engines.

And the interest levels, are too low.

*- Goblins and Kobolds deserve better, for kobolds give you special trade items, and goblins, they are a zerg horde to be reckoned with.

**- I said basic because you will bitch about steam engines.

The boats are on the menu as is, but what do you mean by re-vamp swimming? Works pretty well as is. Maybe have then tire easier?

Erg, the dwarves don't swim, even when I made ramps 5 squares away.
