I can see that apparently Dwarves can't haul up 4/7 water without a well.

however, the next west forter can dig a well into the part outside of the Obsidian zone, so it's not too bad.

I'm up for another round. Did the water channel for the west fort work out? It's in the farm zone i made.

You're stuck. Better luck next season. That elite can kill 4 champions or so, and his allies might get lucky a few times.

No, you can hide the OBJECTS.

of course, then you'd have to find them again, i think they're visible in the stocks screen, and scrolling around with K can find them.

Well, suspending the Vault over a bottomless pit and surrounding it with lava everywhere except the bridge would make a break-in difficult.

Huddle inside until they go away. Alternately, if they aren't lead by an elite bowman or crossbowman, charge them with a swarm of double-layer armor champions.

Figuring out how to fixify this problem is proving difficult, so i'm uploading the save in the hopes that someone can think of a solution, since the bridge does not want to get taken apart.

I... kinda broke that part of the system when i used it to irrigate my farms.

I'll build some new levers and take out the old ones.

An ambush! Skulking vermin!

Yeah, first attack by a kobold raiding force I have ever seen.

This is proving to be a fort of firsts for me, why can't they be good firsts?

EDIT: We have a problem. seems the tantrumer who destroyed the bridge knocked the system out of whack and now i'm not sure how to open up the East fort without opening the West fort.

Yeah, they're all dead. Quite dead, in fact. Time to rushbuild a door set.

EDIT: or just not rebuild the bridge. hadn't even noticed i'd lost it.
