Other Games / Re: Monster Hunter 3, anyone?

Is there any way to know when the next sandstorm's going to happen online?

you know what the next thing to be modded in could be? campfires/ fire places. If we have enough of those around where the well comes up, it could raise the temperature past freezing?
Fireplaces sound nice. They could be made of clay brick. Modding stuff with temperature makes me nervous though... Something goes just a little wrong and there's melted dwarf all over the place. What a mess.

Apple orchards should be added for the monastery to make cider.
I actually really like the idea of apple trees, but I'm not sure there's any way to implement them that makes sense. Farmed plants are destroyed on harvest and there's no way to get fruit from trees that doesn't involve chopping the tree down first.

How is Abbeyhames doing now?

We're alive! We might actually survive until my turn! Yess.

If it's not too much trouble, could I have some info on my dwarf? (Should be Flamey, female). PBT said I was dwarfed but I want to know if they're still alive and what their situation is before I start my turn.

I bought a chunk of frozen arctic char a couple weeks ago and spent a while worrying about how to prepare it (nobody in my family eats fish). In the end I just stuck it in a pan with some olive oil and salt and pepper and it was totally fantastic.

I just drove for half an hour to get to an awesome bakery and spent $50 on amazing things there.

Currently eating irish cream nanaimo bars and mango cheesecake pastries. And scones, so many scones. Blueberry and cherry, warmed up with butter.

Life so good right now.

Agricultural Simulator Historical Farming (On Gamersgate)
Oh my goodness that game looks amazing.

I give all my dwarves dyed capes, so even when they're hot, they're cool.

I'd like the Geneforge Saga on Steam if I win. Thanks! :D

I have episode III. It is the best thing since sliced bread. But then, I love both monsters and card games so it was a good fit for me. I was never able to play it online though, since I got it after the servers went down, to my eternal regret. I hear there's unofficial servers now but I don't have the network adapter for Gamecube.

I played through most of the Arkz story (monster-summony guys) before getting stuck. The equipment users were Hunters I think, and they were basically the PSO player character people. For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure the player characters in PSO2 are called Arks (アークス), which is interesting, but I have no idea how or if they're supposed to be connected.

I gotta say, one of the things that made me excited signing up for this fort was that it was mostly vanilla, where a lot of other succession games use major mods...

I'll just say I'll probably vote for whatever is least intrusive. (not vampire bees.)

I started playing this in the Open Beta.
I was introduced to PSO via Blue Burst and also played PS0 on DS. So far this has seemed like a rather large departure from the formula I'm used to, in both good ways and bad...

So yeah, I have mixed feelings for now. We'll see how things turn out as the game gathers updates.

Sounds like pretty much every single other F2P online game released in the last several years. :)

Does this mean what I'm afraid it does? :( (i.e. that my OS is unsupported)

I got that when I tried to install on my non-x64 Windows XP. Turned out all I needed to do was update from SP2 to SP3. *shrug*

For the Military (assuming you want advice)...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Apart from that, no way are you wasting cut gems on the elves. I won't allow it! D:<
Gems are staying home and being encrusted onto things made of zinc and other things.

I mean feasible in a totally legit way, where you don't cheat and get all the Pokémon not in your game by carrying around your Gameboy Pocket and link cable and finding random people on the street with the other version.
(My Meowth came from some kid in the park who'd named himself "Ach" because "he forgot how to spell it".)

...Though come to think of it the Global trade should let you do almost exactly that. Hmm.

I actually caught them all in Pokémon Red... It's just not feasible anymore which is sad.

I also beat Pokémon Red (as in, beat the Elite Four and champion) with a Bug-type-only team playthrough. So...Beedrill, Butterfree, Parasect, Venomoth and Scyther. I can't remember if I got my hands on a Pinsir.

I'm tempted to try it again with a new game, because there's been so many awesome new bugs since Gen I. I can't decide which game would be best though...

Not sure why there's no comments yet, this looks pretty good.

I'd like to request a Gemcutter/setter/Metalcrafter named Corvus (preferably female but either is okay) Best if they like sparkly things like gems or precious metals. "Gem hoarder" for the profession.

Then start turning that zinc into sparkly things. :P
