Dirk: OK, reason this out. Everything you've met so far is either in this group you've somehow joined, or has tried to murder your face. You should probably hide behind Joe until it becomes clear what this thing is.

Karkat checks, and confirms that Gamzee is simultaneously still on the meteor.

KARKAT: WHAT THE FUCK?

We're gonna find out that Gamzee was pulling a Snape this whole time, will sacrifice himself to save the others, and you're all gonna feel so goddamned guilty.

Excepts, Scratch lies. Scratch used our faith in his inability to lie to pull the wool over our eyes, as well as the players'.
He does twist the truth, but that doesn't make his words any less true. He explicitly said that he has trouble knowing what happens in divergent timelines, presumably because the changes that caused the timelines to split are what he is unable to know. He can deduce them, yes, but that still does mean that he has no immediate way to know.

But the terminology he uses suggests that his knowledge tapers off the further a timeline diverges. He never tells at what precise point he loses clarity. He could very well be making use of the fact that in alternate timelines, he has no insight to what happens after he successfully summon English to use the language he uses.

Now, if Calliope is NOT Lord English, then my current..

IDE/THEORY: Caliborn created Doc Scratch and deliberately modeled him after his sister, as well as took her colors for his theme, as a mocking way of subjugating her very memory. Nobody'll even think of her by those cues anymore. Now all they see is Scratch, the Felt, and thus Caliborn. He's dominated both their body and their soul. Plus, it builds up all this evidence that maybe, just maybe, she was Lord English all along and not him.

But nope. It's him. It's always been Caliborn, and you goofs bought right into his tricks. This would without a doubt go down as one of the shittiest, most inconsequential red herring twists in all of Homestuck. Exactly as he planned.

I've been chatting with friends on what we think the Heir of Heart would do for a while. We settled on a "general" sort of person, who naturally, unintentionally bends people to their will and commands.

I wish we could see more combinations in action, there seem like so many possibilities for this shit. Maybe that's something the Kickstarter game will explore?

I wanted to hate Hussie for this update. But I didn't. I just laughed. And laughed. And laughed. And laughed.

I'm still laughing. Why can't I stop.

Is this one actually Hussie's? It looks a lot like those sketch requests he did/does.

((OK. Really sorry I've been missing for so long. The last two days or so, I knew it had updated because I saw I'd gotten PMs about it. But college was kind of being insane. But prior to that, I was just a complete lunkhead who never noticed it had updated before it slinked to the second page, and automatically assumed nothing had happened. Major derp.))

Dirk: Normally you'd press any button that needs pressing, and that button REALLY looks like it needs pressed, but this guy looks like he's checking for danger. After he's done checking for danger, and assuming there is none, fire an arrow at the button.

So now we have a general idea of what the Rogue god tier outfits look like. Apparently it involves a mask.

Today's Homestuck update: Just a quick reminder that yes, Hussie is completely aware of everything his fandom does.

Ugh, why does everything have to happen at once? I have so much crap going on in college, and I may have to take a leave of absence because my mother's death fucked up my ability to focus on my schoolwork so much. And now my "friend" has criticized the fuck out of my story idea so much I've lost all passion for writing it. I'm just sitting here masturbating trying to think of a new idea. The only story element I've been able to keep is that the main character is a young woman named Daria, who is basically a borderline-neurotic badass. Literally everything but that one character has been drained from me.

Back to the drawing board...
