And freenode is fine with me. Not quite sure how to connect to newnet on chatzilla. Then again, I'm very IRC ignorant.

Alysa would use primarily a crossbow and a supply of bolts, treated or enchanted to resist water based damage. For close range, she'd just pack a dagger. She'd also carry a few vials of poison to use on the weapons. Maybe a set of leather armor or some other lightweight, cheap armor, also treated to resist water damage.

For personal items, she has a holy symbol of Thosia'serras, a journal/magic study textbook, and a few antidotes for the poison she uses. Some healing items if she has any leftover cash. She'd need waterproof tins or such to hold any items that can be damaged in water.

Nagas haven't been played since 0.3, before the Naga/Vespen split and when they were considered an Otherworld race (mostly because the initial player really wanted to be both an Otherworlder and a Naga). Nagas, at least sourth Nagas, are fairly common in the otherworld army, though.

Now that's interesting. I wonder which came first. Were they otherworld nagas who settled down and became peaceful (at least relatively), or were the otherworld nagas drawn from the locals and corrupted or enhanced? Or maybe it's a case of convergent evolution.
