No, I just take a while to post Caesar.

@Dwarfguy2: Personally, I think you should be a little more descriptive. Give a little more detail about what Elan is doing. It doesn't have to be as long as ours (I just happen to have a verbose way of writing), but the more we know about what your god is doing and about his creations, the easier he will be to interact with.

As the pain struck again, Luna gripped her hair and ground her teeth, though through force of will, she kept herself from screaming out in front of the gathered gods. As before the pain passed, and Luna sighed in relief. "I too agree. Xarn is in pain, we must help him soon." Luna said, and departed from Refuge.

Coming back to Aether, she took up a crystal from a mountain from the shimmering land. By her will and strength, she began to shape it, and mold it into a form she desired. The crystal took the form of a great bird, with mighty wings and long trailing feathers, and a crest of feathers upon it's head. It's body was like the purest glass, perfectly clear, while the edges of it's feathers were tinted blue. Luna blessed it with her power, and it glowed from within with a light like Maia. "Awaken, first of the Rhea," Luna said, causing the bird to come to life. It bowed before Luna and spread it's wings wide in respect. "I have created you for a special purpose. My people suffer, from being forced to live in bodies that should long be dead. To release them from their pain, I have limited their days and brought death to them. Your purpose is to gather the souls that are released, and bring them to mothers so they might begin anew and not be lost to the void." Again the bird of crystal bowed, and spread its wings. It leaped into the air, and took flight.

With the cycle of rebirth established, Luna turned her attention to the land of Aether. Her tears of weeping had done much to change it, creating oceans, rivers, and seas and waterfalls over the crystalline land. She moved to reverse the damage, but then paused. She saw a group of elf children playing in the water, and other elves using it to water the trees and plants she had made. Relenting, she instead purified the water, and shaped the land around the new rivers.

Even as she worked to integrate the new rivers and seas into Aether, her thoughts turned again to the problem of death. If no god of death came, she would need to think of a more permanent solution for her people. She would need to craft an afterlife for them.

Act 1: Create water on Aether: Rivers, seas, oceans, waterfalls, lakes and such. Right now, they're all freshwater.

Act 2: Create the Rhea: A race of crystalline birds imbued with Luna's power. They gather up the souls of departed elves (or other races that worship Luna), and bring them to mothers so they can be born again.
The Rhea themselves are not deathless and do age, but they reincarnate themselves. When one dies, they leave behind a crystalline egg, which will soon hatch into a new Rhea.

Maybe it isn't. But it'll do for a stopgap measure.

"Are they, Voidwalker? Their hopes and dreams and works will amount to nothing only if we decree it so," Luna answered. "Besides, for all their insignificance and smallness, they are still my creations, and I cherish each one of them. They love me in their own mortal way. Whatever pain I would endure from keeping them, I would prefer it to the sorrow of abandoning my own creations."

"But whatever you choose to do with your creations, my mind is decided. Until a god of death arrives, the Aether Elves will be born again."

He brings a very nice contrast to Luna. Their debate is very interesting.

EDIT: You trying to give us a hint? Or just telling us to hurry up?

Luna screamed as Xarn’s pain filled her senses. She fell to her knees, clutching at her head. Tears fell from her eyes, and fell to the surface of Aether. There, they carved gouges through the land, tumbled through the mountains, and pooled into depressions. Her weeping gave rise to rivers, waterfalls, and seas on Aether.

But as suddenly as it came, it departed, even as her newly born Aether elves rushed to her side to aid her. She got to her feet, and looked about her creation, a fresh sense of worry filling her. Her creation was beautiful, but she could see now there was a terrible imbalance. All around her life abounded. All life, and no death. This error was obvious to her now, but she was not sure how to correct it. But perhaps the collective wisdom of her brothers and sisters could solve this problem. For a time, she left Aether, and went to Refuge. Already, some of her siblings had gathered. She took a throne for herself.

“Brothers, sisters,” Luna began, her gentle voice in sharp contrast to the harsh tones of the chained god. “We have created many things, and I am pleased the void is becoming a place of beauty. But, in our haste to fill the void, I fear we may have erred. On Aether, there is much life, but no death. The aether elves do not age, but continue on in an unnatural immortality. I imagine that it is the same with other forms of life. We must bring balance to our creations. We must limit their days.”

“But though there is not one of us who is experienced with death, the chained one is right. We must tend to the souls that will be released. Since there is no afterlife yet made, I propose that we let the souls be reincarnated, rather than sending them to wander the great nothing for eternity.”

Eh, I live in Arizona. I'm used to it.

Back up from the monster, out of claw range at least, and shoot at it with the shock pistol (useless as the thing appears to be). I aim for the eyes. Once this mess is done with, I thank Daniels for trying to rescue me.

As Luna rested from the act of creating her own star and world, she gazed out, watching her brothers and sisters shape their own worlds. She watched proud and noble Gheranathon populate his world in a flurry of activity, bringing forth strong and mighty beasts of both flesh and the elements, and blessing some with the gift of thought. She saw the empty night sky fill with numerous points of light, glittering like her beloved crystals, bringing a beauty to the night sky and bathing their worlds in a subtle magic. She observed the creative Natus bring two trees of vast power into existence on his world of natural beauty. Even the merry Elan created a small world for himself.

“The void is becoming a place of beauty,” Luna said to her fellow deities. “But there are too few here to appreciate these wondrous works.” Luna again went to Aether, and looked over the shimmering lands. They were beautiful, but they were barren. But it would not be so for long. Taking a handful of the crystalline sand, Luna shed a drop of silvery blood on it, filling the sand with life. She tossed the living sand out over the shimmering plains of Aether. Where each grain of sand landed, slowly, roots began to grow. Tiny plants sprouted up from each grain, varying in a myriad of different ways. Some grew into tall, mighty trees, with white trunks and large dark green leaves to feed off the gentle light of Maia. Some were small ferns, with long silver grey trailing leaves, coating the ground. Some grew up on stalks, bearing flowers like gems and nourishing fruits like pearls. Some clung to the sides of the crystal mountains, and grew long vines with flowers of deep blue. And many more besides.

Luna took up more sand, and shaped them into two forms. They were tall and graceful, with white skin and hair. They bore fair faces, and long pointed ears. She put blood in their veins, and breathed life into them. She made them into male and female, to be a companion to one another. Luna blessed them with thought and wisdom, and bade them to rise.

“Awaken my children, and live. Join me in this young world, and share in creation.” Luna bade them. And thus, the Aether elves were born.

Act 1: Create varied plant life on Aether.
Act 2: Create Aether elves and bless them with intelligence

I would think an atmosphere would come default with planet or world creation.

The Fae of an Empath - To feel the pain of others. To truly see the minds of others. If that wasn't terrible enough, they run the risk of their sense of self being lost - cast away to drift amongst the crowd. This leads to weird personality-amalgams, that are usually terminated humanely. Also, they suffer a lot from psychological disorders.

And that's why Joseph spends so much time alone on the island. But Isolation brings it's own host of problems.

Fortis, it's a good guess the escaped slave is in the hidden room (ie. he is). Do you wish to try and gain entry, and if so, how would you go about doing so (ie. would you bring allies, bring the expedition first, do it at night, or what).

He'll want to gain entry. He'll try and convince the other empaths to come with him first. Then the expedition, possibly making the bargain to come with them if they help him. If he had to do so alone, he'd wait for the Link to leave first and sneak in while he was away.

As Elan spoke, Luna regarded the merry bard. “I am Luna, mistress of the night and dreams, and creator of Maia and Aether. It is good to meet you.” Luna said in a soft voice. “I did not make the void, so I don’t have the right to name it. But if I did, I would call it Foundation, because it is upon this void that our creations are built.”

“Though I am but newly formed, I’m eager to see what worlds can be built. The worlds of shifting layers, and the world of forests and oceans look beautiful so far, but the light of their sun seems harsh to me.”

Quietly Luna awoke within the emptiness of the void. As her awareness grew of the vast nothing surrounding her, she saw the black sun that gave a strange sort of light to the space. Its harsh light was too bright for her, she much preferred the darkness, but there was none of that either. There was simply nothing. But this did not disturb Luna, she saw the great nothing as a canvas, her fingers the brush, and her will the paints.

She moved to a point far from the black sun, until it was just a twinkling star in the sky. Satisfied, she reached out, and took a bit of the ether in her hands. She molded it, compressed it, and formed it until it took the shape of a many faceted jewel almost perfectly spherical in shape. Into this she breathed her power, and the crystal began to glow softly with a gentle light. She named it Maia. And Luna was pleased.

She had a gentle light much more to her liking, but she wished to make more. She took more of the ether in her gentle fingers, and more and more, shaping many crystals. Some huge, the size of mountains, some tiny, like grains of sand. These she set in motion around Maia, forming a great ring of matter circling about it. The great ring formed the world of Aether, the shimmering lands. Luna took form and walked upon Aether’s plains, surveying her creation. And Luna was pleased.

Act 1: Create crystal star Maia.
Maia is very dim, producting a soft blue light. It's light would be only enough to produce evening or twilight like light on worlds near it.

Act 2: Create Aether, the shimmering lands.
Aether takes the form of a ring of land around Maia. All the land, so far, is formed from crystals, the mountains are huge ones, but most of the crystal are tiny, forming a shimmering sand.
