Or, alternatively, who's been kicking you in the balls? And can I have their phone number?

It might have been Waterloo. I remember the shots, but not the film. I guess I'll have to watch them both now :)
BTW, if we're talking War and Peace, the recent-ish BBC-made miniseries with Paul Dano and Lily James was excellent.

That War and Peace miniseries they have there is, I think, the one where they hired(?) something like 10k soviet army troops to dress up in Napoleonic-era uniforms and reenact the battles. Impressive aerial footage as those masses of people form squares or advance. I don't think it was ever matched in scale until the advent of CGI.

Hey! My analogy was analogier!

It's like if, back when the Holy Roman Empire existed, in its late period when it was just the German states, Italians said 'oh, YOU are the ROMAN empire? That's sweet hon, but I think we'll call you Germania'. /helpfulanalogy

Oh, wow. Soviet-era films. Gonna watch me some of those.
I see they have Ivan the Terrible - I recommend that one. Some crazy-ass expressionist cinematography there. Think Nosferatu, but as a stuffy historical drama.

I sometimes wonder what would happen if you somehow hooked up with martinuzz. Would your children grow up to be, like, really angry.

I never tried that cheese, but always wondered how it works in details. Does the time stop only when they're en route to the destination? Or can you just camp them at a place and forget all about them until you've prepared everything?

Jesus, Josh, don't eat just beans alone. Make a pot of chilli, like Roboto said, to last you a few days. The '2am chilli' is an excellent, simple recipe that you can tweak with more/less meat/veggies however you like:

Also, whenever you eat something with rice, like a curry, add half a can of (washed) red beans to it. It doesn't particularly change the taste, but looks nice on a plate, and you get your fibre boost.

I have heard the argument that 'climate change' was pushed by the liberals to replace 'global warming' so as to cover the climate hoax falling apart. Now I hear the conservatives did it to control the narrative. (As if both terms haven't been in use in literature since climate science was a thing)
The readiness with which some people want to make everything a US partisan issue is getting tiresome.

How are you making this the conservatives' fault?

Even if that were true, it wouldn't make bad shows good.

I too can vouch for physical activity like that - yoga, callisthenics, stretching - something you can do in the quiet of your room so that you can think about the movement, feel each muscle and tendon as they move, get to know your body (another cliche, but still). Makes you feel more in control, like you're in the driver's seat.
But I think Roboto has already taken up working out recently, so I'd say he's on the right track.

Have you changed jobs during the year or something? Or maybe the tax system was revamped? Why was the estimated tax you owed so off the mark?
