It's a shame Casimir is not supposed to know that the jade chesspieces resemble the statues seen by (can't remember who) in his vision of the white mansion/castle. Y'know, when he saw the Y-shape.

I tell Thalmid he has quite a nice chessboard. As we set off, I ask if the objects we need are in an obvious location, say at the bottom of some dungeon.
This is why this is awesome. Here we have an island where some things aren't as they seem (looking at the mud Abronychus fell in), devoid of most/all wildlife but a primitive tribe, invaded by vile creatures of the night, modern men trying to destroy them, as well as medieval men, an unexplained barbarian trying to destroy the vile creatures but mistaking the modern men for them, a gnome just trying to get out of there and last but not least, a band of adventurers dating from prehistory to modern time through different timelines all united to help the primitive tribe!

Feeling intense shame at breaking Neo, I bolt at him and 'fix' him. If he is by that time already made of water, I will find one of their skulls to wield as helmet, and/or make some improvised ninja armour out of the enemies for Jonathan.

The dual timeline sounds fun too. Let's see how things branch out. Quite a lot of work for the people involved, though.

And it looks like he has driven off the track in our Reasonably Priced Car. Seems like he is heading for that nearby zombie horde, too.

« on: January 30, 2009, 03:09:26 pm »I feel that text is even more difficult, as when typing it up, distances vary with the type of character used. e.g. Pluses take up less space then wall tiles. This sorts itself out when posted but it is very hard to keep track off when there is a large map of these small characters when typing it up.
And use a monospace font. (There even is one called monospace, probably)
