Then I shall draw him in glorious side perspective! Midflight! Carrying Abronichus! Dropping a rock on a Rahn Inya head!
By the way, this plot reminds me a little bit of a Donald Duck story. Mr. Duck wins a trip to a tropical island, by finding the lucky star in his bottle of lemonade, brand Ranya (That's what lemonade is called here). But on the tropical island Donald is constantly assualted and beaten up. When he asks for help and looks for what it was, it's just a frisky dog, or he accidentally walked in the dark room of a practicing karateka.
Later he's captured (there's a shark infested swimming pool involved) and the bad guys reveal themselves. They are a gang, whose rival (I think) is a gang lead by Rahn-Ya. D. Duck kept singing about Ranya, so they assumed he was one of them.
Please note, there's an happy ending which I won't spoil.
So yea. There's a tropical island and the bad guys sound alike. And there is a bird as a main character.

One thing I was wondering about. If I were to try to draw Flat in all his glory, I need to have him stand proudly with wings extended!
But when I try to do that, his wings from tip to tip are only half as long as his body. Or is one wing 35'?

Well, the crop IS technically a pouch, according to wikipedia: "In a bird's digestive system, the crop is an expanded, muscular pouch near the gullet or throat."

Isn't the pouch officially called the crop? I remember a Sherock Holmes story which revolved around a blue carbuncle or diamond in the crop of a christmas goose. Which got lost.

Oh right. Knew it was one-way, but for some reason the other way. Makes much more sense.
And Zako, Casimir can help with that. See "Flintlock Pistol (long: +accuracy)". Maybe I could get even a siderole as the heroic sidekick shouting "Strife! Catch!", then giving the gun to Flat and hope it doesn't get wet when he uses the Flat Cannon.

Remember that not all is as it seems. I'm wondering how we got on the island if the shield prevents things coming in. Might have something to do with that jolt that was too powerful to be a wave.
