He has no excuse, it is one hour past midday! Well, then. Not now. Now is dinnertime.

I've been playing DoomRL for a few days now, and I shouldn't be posting this in the happy thread but yea.

I also had a pretty good run (on I'm too young to die ;D), including full phaseshift armour, the heavily modified automatic infinite ammo plasma rifle, and Malek's armour.

Then, one level in hell, I killed not that much monsters before all roaming outside the house-like thingies were dead. I still heard frightening screams coming from one room. Didn't know why didn't leave.
I braced myself and opened the door.
OSHI~
Three Revenants and two Arch-Viles. After they ate up almost all my health packs and armour (destroying Malek's armour, even), I finally got 'em by switching to the BFG9K. Leaving me with almost no ammo...

So. Now the bad part. I decided to savescum. Must have been anti-savescum karma, because when I tried to copy the save file, my finger slipped downwards from 'copy' to 'delete'. Nothing to be found in trash. Then I hoped that the game still knew what was going on, so I tried to continue. But the cursor was for some reason on 'exit' instead of the expected 'continue'.

Gah.

It makes me happy, though, that in my younger years I would be devastated by that, while I can now laugh about it.

Maybe I'm a bit late to say it, but Tack's avatar makes me happy.

I try shooting as something more hard to shoot at, like a moving target. Thats not um...alive. Yeah. No killing people. Yet.

When we are in roughly the same place, I could throw my hangover curd around for you to shoot at.

For the impressive drumming, this (and some disappeared videos, gah. If you try to find them, they're also from Gayane) and other things from Khachaturian.
This as a piece-you-know-but-forgot-the-name-of: the Dance of the Knights, by Prokofiev.

I seem to be drawn towards composers from Russia-thereabouts.

...It makes me angry that this is the cold I got in about as many months.

At least they're all different, variety is the spice of life.
I've lost you.

I mean that I got a cold three times recently, and that the first one started with a sore throat, the second with a headache and the third with a leaky nose.

Then I appreciated that at least they aren't all the same. That would be bland.

I love getting the positive things out of situations.

Now get off Bay12 and study ;D

All the kids here have to wait 'til the eleventh of november before they come home with bags of sweets.
Saint Martin. Pretty much like halloween without the scary. Children make lanterns, ring doorbells and get candy or fruit after they sing a Saint Martin song.

The ultimate result for dentists is the same.

Bah, Touhou references. The only thing that springs to mind is 'bullet hell' and I don't even know if that's correct.

I like the style of writing, and the working of the keyboard. See Faraday Cafe. Or that door exploding.
You also manage to keep it clean and... forgot the word. You keep overview.
Nothing really that I don't like, it's a fun game.

And I enjoy the references I do get.

[GRASP:punch:punch:punch:pulp]

[NAME:hydragons:hammerdwarves:1:2:GORE]

[trAMPLE_LITTER_NUMBER:4]

[CLUSTERABILE:'U']

[PERSONALITY:SYMPATHY:0:1]

[STANDARD_FLESH]  (Wait, this is ACTUALLY a real tag)

That last threw me off, too.
And [GRASP:punch:punch:punch:pulp] is a pretty effective attack, I'd guess.

I'll accept Mima's offer, as naturally an evil ghost wizard is somebody you don't refuse.
Maybe ask if she knows who can cure me.

And yes, I know the facts are not matching, but I have no clue where to find the good one.

Hey Sofia, get well soon. I trust you will, the doctors got to be better than the Dwarf Fortran ones.

If it isn't too late, I'll make something to put on the card when I have a little time.

I'm still trying to figure out whether to buy Borderlands or Fallout 3... Help?

It's easier if you've played Diablo/Dungeon Siege (Borderlandslike) and/or any of the Elder Scrolls series (Falloutlike).

Borderlands is, in a way, about collecting neat guns; Fallout is about plot and quests and that jazz, to put it exaggeratedly simply. Also Borderlands has multiplayer, so there's that.

Only Morrowind. I think that story is a plus for Fallout, but Borderlands would be rahter nice to play online. How 'jump in and play' is it?

Though, apparently, the sword of Grutte Pier 'has a length of 213 cm (84 in) and a weight of about 6.6 kg (14½ lb).[1]'
