That's a lovely accent you have. New Jersey?
Austria.
Austria! Oh, WELL THEN! G'day mate. How about we put another shrimp on the barbie?
How about not?
---Dumb and Dumber

Another one, same movie

I bet you 20 bucks I can get you gambling before the end of the day.
No way.
I'll give you 3:1 odds.
No.
5:1.
No.
10:1?
... You're on.
:evil laughter: I'm gonna get you.
Nuh-uh.
I don't know how, but I'm gonna get you.
Nuh-uh.

Oh what the hell, the whole movie. Highlight reel

Some Evel Knievel quotes:

If you look at the Bible almost everything that was predicted, maybe everything, has come to pass.

You come to a point in your life when you really don't care what people think about you, you just care what you think about yourself.

DF General Discussion / Re: And people claim that Dwarves drink too much
« on: November 28, 2009, 12:02:23 am »
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Considering the drinks of choice, I think the bear is actually quite a bit more refined than we think. Just a really expensive drunk.

Any questions?

EDIT:
I just remembered something funny.

On a talk show on the radio "Monsters in the Morning (previously: Mid-Day)", there is someone on the show that went by the title of "Drunky the Bear". Usually at shows or whenever they gave him a challenge as well, he was dressed in a bear mascot costume or something.
Here's ink to the show: Monsters.fm

Pretty funny bunch.

It wouldn't be too much for me to submit (until it's a completed project) my idea of a fully functional aerial battlecruiser dubbed "Bloodfist: The Sky-Fortress of God" Also known as "Armok's Gauntlet" in the category for architecture would it?

Considering the whole award thing, along with a rebuilding/showing off the concept in Minecraft, I am motivated to get my work finished. Concept has been completed to be submission worthy, the work itself, well that will be known when it is completed.

In regards to regulations:
Owner: Itnetlolor (Me)
Title: Bloodfist: The Sky-Fortress of God
Category: Architecture (Design for now, Construction will follow)
Other Details: Still a WIP, however, illustrations and models of such do exist for submission, if that'll do. A cheaper, more crude, model exists within the main page of the project. The Minecraft model pictures will be posted if necessary.

Considering the construction method, the model of the boiler (for constant steam effect), and overall operation of parts used (mostly for illustration), Physics is another option that can be considered. After all, the ship will be independent from the ground upon completion, and fully operational. But again, it's only an option.

I got the same connection issues like everyone else.

I wonder what's going on?

I figured out the whole dumping thing. Although it does shut off any hax you have upon load.

Basically, in your own server, load a map, go to where you saved the dump file (usually the game directory), change view to all files, and choose which one you want (you can rename them).

I have the original version of the map before the madness, and after it. Pre- and post-spiking of my ship. As well as additional random/accidental dumpings.

Ah, it's nice to see the old place cleaned up. Too bad I can't share it with everyone in the same server.

Oh, and does anybody have the original, fresh version of the place? (Dumped upon entry)

My thought on the Twilight Vampires vs. the standard vampire and etc.

They're actually elves.

Monster is a pretty good one I'm watching right now. Tokko wasn't half bad. Story-wise, it seemed a little cut short. I also just got into Here & There, Then & Now. Started again this week. (2 EPs in so far)

There's also Moribito, though I have missed a few episodes because [as] LOVES PLAYING ANIME SO DAMN LATE!!!

Further checking into the [as] lineup, we have more screw overs to follow. At least we're getting a couple Bleach movies, though I already caught the first one; at least the second one plays next week; but then it's reruns from there on, except for Moribito for 2 more weeks, and then nothing but reruns.

[adult swim] I bow my head in disappointment. And if further adjustments are to fill in more Family Guy and other such nonsense instead of more quality shows and anime, I'm boycotting you big time. No more will your shows be background noise for me.

Any news in getting a B12 server to work?

You're a tad behind the times, hehe: http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=38729.msg879497#msg879497

It's been up continuously since that post. Although I only a while ago got a blank slate map up for people to edit.

Also, Hawkfrost, I hope your birthday is better than mine was, at the -very- least.
Got too caught up in Minecraft to notice.

I'll maybe stop in sometime and check it out. Especially considering that the Minecraft server is about to become a clean slate again.

As for HAPPY; I just mounted more than enough weapons on Bloodfist for a last hurrah. Took tons of screenshots. I'll post them tomorrow. I didn't even bother counting, there are so many. The thing menaces with spikes of awesomeness.

And happy birthday Hawkfrost.

Shame really.

I put alot of work into Bloodfist. At least anyone who saw it and had a tour of it got to see my work, and what I intended for DF. Hell, I'm rather impressed how well I made it; but I knew it was eventually going to come to this.

All I can say is, thank goodness that was one of the first structures made before madness struck. My goal for it, personally, was for it to at least be in the sky for about a week.

Considering it was under attack, I figured I could show just how well designed it is, being modular and all. Hell (hops back on server), let's crack that to 11.

Behold, one of the many options of overkill one could modify the beast into. I might screencap it for posterity.

I'm contemplating whether or not GRID is a good idea to get or not. (10 hours remaining for the deal upon post)

I mean, is it pretty much Gran Turismo with damage? Heck, does it even allow as many cars to be purchased/won like Gran Turismo? Is Multiplayer worth it?

I mean, most of my skill is based off of realistic driving physics, and my arcade-level skills are a tad rusty (though Pod Racer begs to differ a bit).

Price: $29.99 $7.49
Missed the deal. Didn't get it anyway.

KOTOR is nearly 3 bucks. Got it right now.

Dead Space is about 15 bucks as well. I wonder; how is Dead Space? Worth it? Still deciding.

Fun, filling Turkey Day. And had a nice drink after ages of not. I miss the good buzz feeling.

As usual, ate more than my fill. At least 2 full plates-worth (and these are rather large plates). Now I'm ready to hibernate for the Winter.

Nieces and nephew were a handful, as usual. Hung out with the rest of the family. And overall, it was a pretty fun day.

After the feast, The wine was good. Felt like the return of an old friend. Got a good buzz since some time of sobriety (most the year, in fact). Oh, alcohol, how I did miss ye. Oddly enough, I'm not usually tired after all the work, eating, more eating, and dealing with the kids. Surprisingly, the wine did me in. I might turn in early for once.
