He'd probably go insane.
That wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.
Yeah, sanity is over-rated.
YEAH!
Totally.
But what if he become melancholy! He would stop working on DF!
QUOTE PYRAMID!!!
Toady isn't alcohol dependent, though if he couldn't sleep he would be caffine dependent, so I see him going crazy and running around naked as being more likely.
That's a rather rational reaction. Dwarfy.

I noticed somebody removed Captain Fwiffo's ship from the map. My response, I set a GCS somewhere on the map.

EDIT:

Having fun with the family around. Had fun riffing some of the performances in the Thanksgiving Parade. Eating like no tomorrow.

I love this holiday.

Itnetlolor has taken pleasure in a slaughter lately. He has killed a Giant Spider.

Huzzah! Bastard was the size of my freaking hand. What's with all these freaking mutant spiders? Second one to strike today.

Looks similar to a boiler design I made for the Bloodfist.

You can always disguise it as one if you want to add plausibility to a fortress/project.

He stood up to the tanks, but I think he would probably run away from that.

Epic campaign and last name.

Be sure to have everything absolutely set by December 25th. Captured trained elves, a Mrs. Claus, and a full-on ice castle, fully stocked with toys. Along with a fully stocked sleigh with all 12 reindeer.

Someone also has to tell "The Night Before Christmas" story in DF style.

Oh, and to explain why Santa is able to do a round-trip delivery? Quantum Stockpiling, and tons and tons of booze.

That's it, this Christmas, I'm leaving mushrooms and beer for Santa.

Here are a few I came across that always cheer me up:

"I'm like butter baby, I'm on a roll."

A good friend will bail you out of jail, but a true friend will be next to you saying "Damn, that was fun!"

"Believe me, Mike, I calculated the odds of this succeeding against the odds that I was doing something incredibly stupid...and I went ahead anyway." --Crow, Mystery Science Theatre 3000: The Movie

If history is to change, let it change!
If the world is going to die, let it die!
If what I am about to do causes me to vanish...
Then I will be amused!!
Go, Lavos!!
--Magus, Chrono Trigger

Some RedVsBlue ones:
"You kidding? Women are like Voltron, the more you can hook up, the better it gets." --Tucker

"Okay... Church... is trying... to get... a translator... so... we can talk... to... each other.
Tucker, The enourmous alien doesn't speak our language. Speaking slowly is not gonna help.
What? I was talking to Caboose." ---Tucker to Caboose, Church

"You know, I learned something in my travels. 'No matter how bad things seem'--
it can get worse.
--No, 'No matter how bad things seem; It can't get any better, can't get any worse. because that's the way things fucking are, get used to it nancy. Quit your bitching...'
...So Church, where have you been this whole time?
You want the long version? or the short?
I'll take the easy version please.
Oh, I want to hear the long version, but can you do me a favor and tell it in three parts?"
--Church, Caboose, Tucker, and Sarge

Something I noticed that can be associated with hand-hand combat is any simple labor. Like sweeping or heavy lifting and etc.

Oddly enough, I think I know what martial arts masters were up to when it comes to assigning such tasks to students. Physical training and technique while getting things done.

Anyway; what I noticed when doing any kind of work, or even moving around, and it always bothers me when I watch people fight; You really don't need to move around much to cause alot of harm to someone. Given an opportunity, I can knock someone out at point blank without warning, without it being a sucker punch. You don't need a reel back in order to do harm. It's wasted time and energy that can be spent on defense or dodging or aiming.

Like stated, a well placed shot, as well as enough pressure in a given spot can just about incapacitate anyone, provided what you intend to shock for a short time. It's all about pressure points and providing the right pressure at the right point.

Consider something like this; back when most of my family were living in the same house; my older brother would sometimes surprise attack us (sometimes as a surprise greeting) by by pushing his knee at the base of our spine, next thing you know, you can't move your legs, and you're on the ground immediately without resistance. However, it's only as long as pressure is on the spot. Enough for practical jokes; and a pretty decent method to subdue someone unaware of the technique. Of course, with enough knowing how it works, it helps to grow some muscles in the area to make it harder for the technique to work; just keep your posture up to prevent it (provided the right muscles are grown for protection; no guarantees though; plus not too upright either; there's a sweet spot where you're nigh-invulnerable to the method.).

I think similar can be executed, the finding the right column/tendon/vessel to press to fully subdue a person while keeping them conscious is a challenge, but not fantasy. It's just not on the shoulder as Spock would show. Much worse, when using such methods to subdue someone, it's like anesthesia sans the painlessness. No movement, still feeling.

If you are particularly cruel, duct tape a marble into a pressure point and keep them on the ground and deal with them later.
