Really? But if she does nothing, then she falls into a more "damsel in distress" role which doesn't work at all considering she's the main character. I never really ever considered her a Mary Sue. The story isn't about action or fighting, it's about the story itself and the intrigue of the setting, so I don't really see her showing them that she deserves to be the medium and deserves to be respected is a bad thing.
Granted, it would one-up Ysengrin, which would be bad because his character is that of protector/enforcer but he hasn't really succeeded at that yet. I guess it's more important that Ysengrin does something significant and Antimony backs him up and shows them that she's legit and is someone to be respected for herself and not just according to Coyote's whims.
Or while Ysengrin is fighting a bunch of them, some of them try to go behind him and get to her and she protects herself. That would work, too.
