Same. Mostly to avoid stepping on bugs though. Loved bugs when I was a kid.
Always annoys me a bit when people trip or step on things and complain about it. I want to tell them they should watch where they're going, but I guess looking at the ground when you're walking is kind of weird.
Speaking of bugs... they make me happy. Especially the local box elder bugs. They're so friendly! One accompanied me for a whole block before flying away.
The only bugs I really dislike are ants, flies, and mosquitoes. I used to be afraid of bees, but then I discovered that they were chill bros. I also learned not to hold stinkbugs. And to not have bare feet when sitting in the basement with the lights off. Slugs are NOT pleasant to feel.

He has since departed on his way as soon as the heat wave in Michigan subsided.
...although I imagine that this doesn't exactly make me endearing to people in the least...
