Good story, I'd like to claim a non-fortress dwarf. Nirur Torir is a (stereotypically) traditional dwarf, deeply troubled by recent events. He's a battle scarred warrior, and always carries his large battle hammer around with him. He thinks that you're all loony for building up, unlike proper dwarves. He thinks that the elven leader is even loonier, and escaped at the first possible opportunity.

Dead, prepare turtles like in standard DF. Meat, shells, and bones.

Gotta bring something to make bolts out of, right?

...

...

How does one make bolts out of a turtle? I guess it could be just meat.

I'll run down the hallway, stopping before I reach the corner. I'll probably only end up killing myself if I try to heal myself further.

With more people playing, more people will forget or be unable to post actions. I say you just AI people who haven't posted actions when you are ready to make a turn.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A messenger handed a piece of paper to Stozuagun, who was eating glowing mushrooms with Xengbubukza. Stozuagun opened it and began to read. "It's from Glrk'nr. He wants us to go look for more wolf pups, says that we're finally ready for them. Wolves may be useful, but it's a waste of time. The humans will keep searching for us."

"Well, let's get going anyway. I'm out of glowing mushrooms."

----------------

Kazastrugu wrote down theories about ways in which the workers would be able to further harness the river to improve the rate at which mushrooms grew. Glrk'nr wanted more food for the ever growing populace, and the sage knew that failure would not be tolerated.

----------------

Glrk'nr chopped off a criminal's arm with one swing, and frowned. It was just too easy with this new iron sword. Sure, it had the potential for killing more easily, but it just wasn't nearly as much fun as some other weapons were. Regardless, the military needed them to beat the humans back easily. He wrote a note reminding himself to get somebody to build a smithy to produce enough swords for his entire military.

I didn't take the idea from any game specifically, although it's possible I did without noticing it.

I ment a rune of healing on the barrel, not the liquid. But yes, if they can mince the beer, they can draw a rune on it.

I'd like runecrafting as a profession: The art of improving various objects by imbuing them with runic magic. Fire axes, exploding wall traps, healing ale ... The uses are nearly endless!

I want in.

Edit - Possible prices?
50 starting points per player
5/6/7/8/9/10 points for skill levels
20 points per tool (with the axe being less effective than a battleaxe)
3 points per food/drink
3 points for raw materials

10391
Strife, the faster you post the faster Pandarsenic and I can get thousands of people killed in a senseless war over a disagreement of racial supremacy.

10392
Ah, you're blaming me for breaking the universe!
Oops, sorry.

Well then. I'll convince some people that they're really great engineers, and that they can fix or improve anything mechanical that I ask them to.

10393
I think that the prophecy will probably mutate to fulfill whatever we do, so trying to find it is futile.
Curses! How did you find out?

10394
Hey, since all classes had an innate +1, shouldn't we all have three skill points?

I'll apply first aid to my finger, I'm sure there's something I can use as a bandage around here.

On another note, should I A.I Zako or should we wait?
I vote you AI him. There's not that much to do this turn anyway.
