As the Sun starts to settles high above you, finally you reach the pyramid.
The midday sun beats on your back as you walk around the carved stone mass, finding a bronze door sit in to both the north and the south faces.

Few questions:

I see a Sorcery stat, but no actual information on how magic works. Should there be an explanation?
Do players allocate their own stats or does the GM determine that based on their character description?
Also, what is the purpose of Origins? I see a list of them, but no place on the character sheet to choose one.

Stats are yours to assign.

Each point of Sorcery gives you a spell, picked at by the GM (me) semi random and 3 Spell points.
The point of  Origins is to colour the world and give some background history.

Add you to the party.

In the dark centuries between the time when the waves crushed the lands of dogs and the coming of the Capitoline Wolf’s cubs there was age undreamed of.

A time where the fate of kings and empires rested on the steel of warriors and foul sorcery shaped the lands.

For a moment you consider your past, you wonder how fate Has tired you to this row bench, with an oar in your hands.
Mindlessly you pull to the beat of the drum, the world beyond it gone.
Then there the crack of a ram bow as the side of the ship splinters, solid oak snapped like twigs.
As the ship start to sink you swim in the sea, at last free to master of own fate.

By the tides or the hands of poseidon you wake on a beech.
There's salt in your hair and cuts but your alive and whole.
Scavenging from the ship and bodys of your captures to gather some wares before you look around.

Then in the distance you see it a stone building, a pyramid.
Without command you head towards it, joining others  spared from the sea.

I vote our cult venue should be an abandoned building.
5

Well, here's my thoughts on what we need to decide on for the cult, but I'm open to other suggestions:

Cult name: Shadows of the Elder Wyrm.
Cult theme: Gloom and night. Light is temporary, but darkness is eternal.
Cult membership: Not sure about this, but maybe try starting with the young and impressionable, perhaps students at local colleges and universities.

+1 I like the sound of all that

You spend much of the night looking and searching for a suitable base, you want somewhere large enough to hold you're follower yet privet and secluded.

You manage to find an abandoned warehouse, looking around you find that the floor boards on the upper floor are rotten thru and there no power supply.
But with some elbow greece you manage to get a rusted tap working.

You can feel Violet approaching, like a pulse inside mind before you hear her foots steps, and the sound of her boot heels echo's in the warehouse.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

"oh this place is nice, look it has some windows, the roof didn't have any.."
"Yes well i guess where moveing up in the world.
Violet while i get this place set up to be more suitable for the Shadows of the Elder Wyrm, can you go to the local colleges and see if you can talk some of the students in to joining us."

She nods and leaves you to focus on the decorations.
Well by decoration you mean some black bin liner bags used as drapes and curtains, and the odd bit make shift candle.
-----------

(recruitment role , 4 +1 for Students weaknesses, roll for number 11)

Elsewhere, on a collage campus Violet has managed to attract a crowed, with her eye catching style of dress and her direct approach.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Most people are keen to ridicule and write her off as a crazy, but she does meet with some success.
Be they interested, desperate, impressionable or just bored enough to come see what she's on about, Twelve follow her back to the warehouse.
-----------

As night fall you make your appearance to the new cultists.

"Hail him! Hail Simba high lord of the Elder Wyrm!" Violet calls out as you step thru the bin bag curtains.

There's gasps and falling jaws as the gaze on you.
After a moment of stunned silence you hear then start to repeat the chanted hail.

But then one of them snaps, "A monster! its some weird nuclear mutant! Im out here!" the man shouts as he starts to run.
"Sit down! " Violets eyes glow as she shouts at him.
The man's neck twitches as he crosses the room, by the time he reach's the doorway, his nose is flowing with blood.
Some where on the stairs up from the basement his mind ruptures and his body falls dead with blood shoot eyes staring blankly for ever more.

"See! The power of the Elder Wyrm and its eternal darkness." one of the gathered cultist calls out as they kneel before you and Violet.

Going to town and raising the masses seems like a good move.
+1
1, 1

Really bad rolls.

---------

You head to the town, happy that the time has come to call the masses in to the glory of Slaanesh.

An you enter it in style riding atop your Hovercar.
Once there a crowd drawn, you start raise the masses to overthrow the imperial yolk.

"Say it with me now,  the governor is a tyrant!. "  the crowd chants it back to you.
You grin as turns to face you.
Standing up you call out " The emperor is rotted corpse! The ignorant fools of mas have blinded us to glory's of science!"

Then you duck a throw rock, things have not gone well.
"RETREAT !! RETREAT !! RETREAT !!" Dhec bleets as you slam the engines it to reverse.

Clearly there not ready for the truth yet.

In the distance out side of town you plot and consider your options:

1: Storm a small town.
2: Raid a military deport .
3: Recruit mutants from the wastelands .
4: Seal a spaceship.
5: other.
