Tie breaker, 1
----------------

"Guards men plant the charges, Battle sisters protect the Magos.
Axe's of Locking with me!
We must protect the weaker servants of the Emperor!"
The order given, you head towards the sounds of weapons fire.

Las fire echos down the metal hallway, leading you to a large open chamber.

The guards men are grouped around a wounded woman in a defensive circle.

"Cease your hostilities and prepare for assimilation or you will be terminated.
you have 5 seconds to comply.
5, 4,..." a machine voice echo from a hidden com speaker.

"Never! Death or Victory!" a trooper shouts.
Then you see a green shimmer, and the Borg appear, there skin is pale and bodys are covered in cybernetics, clearly there some kind of rouge servitor.

"Here they come again!" one shouts and a Las bolt tears the limb from one of the Borg.
Your bolters rattle thundering death at the on coming Borg.

Then you see one staggered by a las bolt, the next flashs with the green haze from some kind of force field.
"Shield Adaptation Complete. Compliance Negative. Commencing Termination." the borg speak as one.
More teleport in immune now to las fire.

"Guards mens, fall back to the transport!" you shout as a concussion grenade turns a par of Borg to scrap.
Your bolt pistol clicks empty as you cover there retreat.

Then as suddenly as they came the borg leave, teleporting away even with there dead.
Slapping a full magazine in to your bolt-pistol, the coms crackel in to live.
"We -bzzkk- under -bzzkk- must -bzzkk- charges -bzzkk- now -bzzkk-  No no -arg-" and then your com fails silent.

There's a tremendous bang, the floor plates buckle under your feet as the blast wave knocks you to the floor.
The lights are gone and the ship feels still.

This borg ship crippled you head back towards the transport ships.
"This Imperatoris Sagitta, to boarding partys we are under attack, I repeat  This Imperatoris Sagitta, to boarding partys we are under attack.
Multiple small craft are engageing us, transport fighter cover is unavailable at this time.
I repeat transport fighter cover unavailable multiple hostiles active in your area."

From the inside of your now half empty transport, you can see the new comers, waves of small two man fighter with X shaped wings.
You can see Imperatoris Sagitta's heavy guns struggle to chase the fighters.
But there like ants trying to wound a giant, Imperatoris Sagitta is just too big for them to harm.
but your new allies are not so lucky, there ship is already batted from the borg, and takes several missiles that rub salt in to the wound.
With there barrage of missiles spent, the attackers flee, there ships just speed off in a blink.

Your opening commutation to the "empire" is..?
To greet them as brothers?
To inform them of the true emperor?
Try to recruit them?
Ask them about there attackers?

The fate of the borg cube is to be?
Salvaged?
Destroyed?

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: New Arms Race Interest Check:
« on: September 02, 2018, 01:09:43 am »
Given how much I recall it being discussed (may be wrong) in the new game planning channel of the Arms Race General discord server, Kaiju vs. Jaeger would probably be one of the better ones.  Besides, it's Giant Monsters and Giant Robots.

Then again, while a three sided Arms Race is difficult, I believe you are the person who created Catpeople at the end of Wands Race, so Dungeon Arms Race may be fitting.
The problem i see is how many really big monsters can you make?
Ok this one breaths X, whats next? its mother  bigger an meaner la gerndel?

If possible, write "I'm sorry." on the back of the child's card.
-1. Leave no handwriting.
- 1 to handwriting, no tracks.

664
Prop the guard up in a corner, so it looks like he's sleeping.
Take the glock, ammo, baton and His keycard and radio.

I say 2. War Hammer has Bolter a, which are kinetic weapons. Borg Weakness, is kinetic Weapons. Their shields do not adapt fast enough.

That and no clue where 40k ship weapons compare to Star Trek. As Borg cubes are ridiculous.
Every thing in 40K is ridiculous.
Ship size's
Spoiler: here's a chart (click to show/hide)
, you around the size of a Lunar class cruiser.

Oh and here's a aborted crossover idea

Right game time, Votes are in so it's attack.
--------

"Boarding crew to the boats!
We'll shatter that hulk with nova charges" the orders given.

The transport ships are cold and still in the void, your ship warmed only by the flickering of promethium from Canoness Preceptor Chrisonya's handflamer.

"GUARDMEN! FIX BAYONETS!" you hear Lord General Durhan bark the order over the com and bayonets lock in to place.

"Have No fear men of the guard! He that die's for the god emperor shall live for ever!...Let us take solstice in the tale of saint..." Chrisonya starts to give a pre-battle sermon.
When there's a clack and transport locks in to place on the hull of this cube filled with unknowns.

You walk slowly in to the dark maize like ship, the walls show exposed piping and cables that buzz an spark.
Parts of it show clear battle damage, destroyed workstations and blast marks but no bodys, maybe auto systems?

You head towards the center of the ship, bolt pistol in hand, you way lit by flamers behind you.
There's no bed or bunks, just row of alcoves and empty work stations, then you hear a clanging foot step.

"Intruders Detected. --whirr---
We are the Borg. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated."
A red laser sight flash's towards your party an a jet of flame lashs in to the darkness.
Blackend and burnt, a corpse falls to the ground.

"Battle sisters! Protect the tech priest!"
You push onward with the Sisters of battle around the tech priest.
The corridor ends at a T junction and from the left you hear the crackle of las fire.
To the right your sensors reads of a large power source, some where to place a bomb.

1: Help the guards men?
2: Plant the bombs?

Note the party spoiler as your nowhere near the ship.

Don't we also have like two guns and a multitude of melee weapons? Are these somehow hidden in our clothes?

I might consider a limit to how many one-handed guns/melee the protagonist can conceal. Maybe up to 4 one-handed guns and melee weapons can be concealed?)[/b]

Nope

OPTION A: Loud and proud massacre
we could kill them both
Alright, let's make that an action.

Shoot the receptionist at point blank range, then kill the security guard.

If there's only one way in or out of the building, our targets will have to go through us to escape.
+1 to A

Drop down and try to crawl to approach stealthily to the entrance. Also, guys, if you wanted to be anónimos, why would Choose such an easily recognizable mask?
+1 and the man in side that mask?

Roll, self fighting armour

----------------------
“Armour, for you Iewaelle, your the most likey to need it.
I’ve seen you fight with sword, crossed your blade and a master swordswoman you are far from.
And it’d be a shame if i failed as your bodyguard.”

“You fear for my live now?
Am i so easy broken? To be slain so easily? “ she argues.

“I can’t argue with that logic, i’ve tried and you bunt that arrow from the sky.
But you spent months to find me again, we can't lose you and win this.”

She nods, “Then armour i’ll make, now leave me be and bar the door no one is to enter until i have done.”

For the next night you hear nothing and see nothing from her cabin until Iewaelle exits the cabin at dawn.

She wears her new armour, a breastplate with a pair of combined Spaulders and rerebraces.
The grey iron is dull in the light, so the pair of stylized grotesque skulls, leer out from her bust.
Cowning her shoulders are a dozen of what you can only describe as skeletal spider like legs, limbs that twitch and clatter as she walks.

You soon land in the ice filled port of Luzhkovburg.
A cold wind blows thru the town keeping the people in doors and under thick layer of fur when they venture outdoors
You spend a short while shopping, it’s simple things like new woolen socks and a heavy winter coat, a fur hat and and coaks that you all buy (-2 Cash)
Wrapped in a new woolen scarfs and fur coak’s the party head's in to the ice.

Days pass as you head icewards the air changes and starts to hang with frozen ice, you start to breathe through your scarf so that each breath stings less from the ice.

It takes you a week to reach the first real landmark,  a tower of blackstone, that rises into the sky, up until it reach’s the first for the ice clad mountains.

The land before is scattered with the bodys, of men long since dead, there body's frozen in place by years of ice, iw seems to be a little saddened.

As you climb the tower, the stairs are coated with crimson ice and old weapons of bronze and rusted steel.

"you seen to be a little off to day Iewaelle?" Ilerie asks her.

"I knew these men once, that was long ago, and i was a fool to of done it."  Iewaelle shakes her head at the thought of it

As you reach the upper slope of the cliff face there a stillness are you walk on.
Still there are bodys shattered but now you see the you see maces of ivory, spearheads and daggers, warriors clad in armour of ivory plates and war dress.
There wounds are thing no man's hand can do, limbs turned to ash or ripped like rags
Days pass as your foots crunch on the snow.

"We have a choice, we can run the gauntlet, head straight to the mountain but that takes us in to ice maidens caves.
Or with head over the glaciers, longer but safer unless we all freeze to our deaths or starve."

1) Run the gauntlet thru the caves
2) Head around

+1. That's the Imperium of Man teaming up with the Galactic Empire from Star Wars.
Yes i'm not that inventive here, a sci fi and the kitchen sink mixup.
Remember teachings of our primarch( and if we know him and which honourable legion we descend from) ,

Go for the ship daring to yell about assimilating us,
Battlebrothers, none shall dare to challenge us, we are the emperors finest,

An Imperial vessel is in distress. While the possible tyranid offshoot is terrifying, we must join the wedge-shaped ship in battle against the threat. Let it never be said that an Axeman abandons their comrades.

A

"An Imperial vessel is in distress!
Back to the ship men!" you brake off the meeting in a rush.

As the Thunderhawk races back to the ship  you give the chapters warcry as handed down from your primarch.
"Brother's we shall Strike our foes like we the earth!"
"With might and glory!" the men return.

You can see the distant flashs for laser weapon is the distance as you board the Imperatoris Sagitta.

Takeing a com desk you hail the wedge-shaped ship

"In the emperor's name! we are here to help you bothers.
An Axeman never abandons their comrades.
Death to the xenos!" you shout down the com and over the ships loud hailers.

From the ships bridge, you can see that the wedge-shaped ship is smokeing, it's hull blacken an scared.
There's a thump that runs down the Imperatoris Sagitta as the main weapons open fire.
The cube is hammered by your main weapons, parts of it are cracked and blasted apart.
Lights dim on the cube and you consider what to do next?

1)Board the cube and finish the job?
2)Board the  wedge-shaped ship to help your bothers?

See if their are stores that sell leather gloves (hides fingerprints), a tactical one would be great; a ski mask or baraclava we can wear when things get hectic and we need to hide our facial appearance, and some form of fiber wire we can get from a piano, guitar string, cable wire; anything that can be used for garroting

+1
+1 but improve we need to hide our face, and mask is what we need, get a William Shatner mask la Halloween.

674
Try and approximate Mad Tony's voice, and say "Yeah!" or something simple to that effect to the guys downstairs.
+1

675
For heavy vehicles, absolutely.
No Ram tanks :(

Really my large tanks are basically immobile.
Which is a piety as it lets buildings can ignore flame throwers or really any shorter range weapon.
I think  a $150 triangle of steel armour will stop any thing on the ground.
