ratmen might be able to swim but they cant hold their breath. i'm building a lid on this pit as well, thats how i planned to trap the giant cave swallow as well. build an open "bridge" hatch, wait for it to fly in and then throw the lever and trap it inside, drown it with everything else.
The whole point with the swimming ability is that you magically gain the ability to breathe underwater.

1. Tricky one. Dig a hole in the ground, designate a hole in the top as a pit and select the cats to be thrown down there.
2. Destory and rebuild the cages. The cats won't be released.

With fluid logic. The thing about lever and pressure plates is that they send either an on or off signal. If they send an off signal to something that's already off, it stays off until the lever sends an on signal.

Head bruised
Right ear badly bruised
Left ear badly bruised
Nose bruised
Throat blackened

The limestone rock was spinning, it hit the cyclops rights ear, (badly bruising it),spins over the back of his head, (bruising it), hitting is left ear, (badly bruising it), continuing it's directory and being stopped by his nose, (which is bruised in the proces). The falling stone then apparantly hits the throat in it's fall ("blackening" it) because the cyclops bend his head backwards wondering what the fuck just happened.

Or the stone fell into fragments in the and hit the body parts separately.

Maybe the stone bounced off the cave walls?
