start of Minute 2
Yark'tark rolled out onto the deck, both dogs lunge at him, but are restrained by inches by the ropes. The door to the elevated covered area opens, lanternlight shining out, jsut as Yark;tark scrambles down undearneath  the staircase (#=ladder or staircase) He moved quickly but he might've been spotted. He finds himself below a staircase leading up, and directly underneath that there is a staircase leading below decks. He lies prone on these lower stairs, that empty out in the open into the cavernous hold to the ship. Stacked high with barrels secured by ropes, and crates full of watermelons scattered around, The is a walled off section at the north end, but the stairs he is lying on block a good view in that direction.

Ghenjol redoubles his efforts and now hangs off the edge of the dock, he could use a hand, with nothing to kick off he lacks the strength to get a good grip on the slick dock surface.

Furtuka hangs by one arm from the anckor chain, he swings his tail around and sinks his teeth into the attached dire barracuda, who said grappling practice would never pay off? Within seconds the fishs grip weakens and falls off. But looking below him it is snatched up by the lightning fast snap of a set of Crocodilic jaws! There an Albino Saltwater Crocodile below him!

Oy, Hastur, if shootand run posts soon, you think we could do some rapid fire turns tonight?

At least until a large deck brawl starts and we need everyone elses inputs.
yes although if there is a brawl i'll auto-play people to assist conservatively. A melee has to be a one second timescale the way i see it. So i wouldnt worry about the -untill the brawl- part.
Oh and i need to go work for an hour or two today
edit: haha funny pic

EDIT: Furtuka!!!!!!!!!!!! when i said swinging range i meant you could swing the sword at it. you seem to want to swing onto them, which would be a stunt that i am not shure you really are aware that is not certain to work. are you shure you want to swing onto them?

One Minute-ish
"Oy! you dammned fools" Says a bystanding fish-cleaner as Genjol , Yark'Tark and Furtuka climb down into the water, thick with chum, the murky storm tossed water had basically zero visibility. Something bumps Yark'tark before he reaches the ship, Furtuka is bitten by an unknown fish. It latches on as he reaches the Cog. Furtuka climbs up the anckor to see a Dire Barracudda latched onto his tail. His saber is in his teeth, and one of the 2 sets of mooring line are within his swinging reach.

Yark'Tark is buffetted by waves, but his small fingers find cracks in the east side of the Cogs planks. He climbs up to the deck. The deck has 2 dogs tied to the mast, they are barking towards the dock, unaware of The sneaky Dragonborne.  The deck has no safety railings on the side, and it would be a simple thing to climb up, although there is no good cover to hide behind. But his speed and perception freeze him in his tracks. There are people in the covered area of the ship. The lights beneath the door flicker as someone approaches, cracking open the door. Hanging off the edge would hide Yark'tark, but the tossing boat makes such a task iffy, and a changing of the winds could drive the boat bumping into the dock, crushing him.

Ghenjol approaches the east side of the boat, and climbs up the half rotted log holding up the dock. His gloved claws dig into the soft waterlogged wood and he hoists himself halfway up, but his waterlogged armor bears down on him, and he hits some difficulty. He sees Furtuka climbing up the ships anckor chain nearby, but then looks down below him to seee the distinctive snout of a saltwater crocodile beneath, It submerges again but not before making eye contact with Ghenjol.

Brogas the goatman and Ludwig the spiderman approach the ship, walking casually past the women fishing kelp from the docks, and past the tethered fishing boat to the east. The dogs begin barking at them, tied off to the mast with a rope about 2 yards long (2 squares)

Icho the goblinwoman is lookout on the docks. The cloaked mounted figuire comes this way, his slow pace puts him a long ways off (in time) Otherwise she makes note of the iron turret set with cannons and the storm wall out at the entrance to the bay, it has a ballistae on it. She notices the mounted figuire is armed. and the fish cleaner peers out at the water "Ol' Whitefang will get them for shure!"

Fran Kei lumberswit his fast stride to the northernmost edge of the docks, past the Cog, the dogs seemingly loosing interest in him once he passes. The Barge to the east has movement on it, he notices little ramshackle hovels amongst the junk, but otherwise just the dogs seem to be an immediate threat.

Am I in ?

Genjol you overreached by shooting the dog, care to cross out your last post about shooting the dog pretty please. im writing up the turn now.

im going to try to make the turns about one minute long unless its a chaotic melee. it might not work out how im imagining it though. one second-ish turns would take to long with muskets and crossbows reloading. This makes reaching melee range extremely deadly i think, Most melee fights are over in seconds...

Adwarf you are in! you are standing on the docks, you can be somebodys old-time aqaintance.

No bitching in the other thread. -50 DKP to everybody >:( >:(

unlike the elder gods, do not attribute malevolence where incompetence will do. (im talking about me) i dont do things perfectly.

waitlist is more of a guideline, besides its not a queue. Its for people who are waiting to jump in first, If i dont hear from people then i jump to somebody who i think is. Turns out I was wrong I accept full responsibility and whatnot but my priority is keeping the game moving forward and organised. So I cant turn back time and edit all the posts so everybody gets in in a way everybody is happy with all the time. Hopefully everybody forgives me and I dont want people being angry for this injustice. I'd respond to everybodys comment or whatever but i typically ignore OOC stuff from the other thread in order not to discuss it there or encourage people to do that.

In case somebody hasnt noticed, I do the active players turns first, then edit in the stocks moods maps and who gets in next for the next day, so somebody was gonna get in. I do as much as im in the mood to at a time.

ugh

Ochita I'll autoplay you if nobody else has

Dia dies-y-siete, ARRIBA! The day of non-flavor text

Shigon sleeps then digs, then digs some more! (+20 rock)

Bernard collects alchemy materials (+120$ worth of alchemy materials), then while dragnar sleeps Bernard gets to work on a dining table, a long one. it (+120/480

Miran cooks, wasting not a drop, and putting together a delicious soup! (-5 plump helmets +10 seasoned plump Soup+), sleeps, and trains throwing after stealing a headbat for food. (+8 and +8 owed from before = 64/100 training progress) (-1 headbats)

Micelus goes about, making shure all the beds are nice and not stone anymore, then morphs some copper (-2rock +2 copper) then morphs some tin (-2 rock +2 tin)

Dragnar tidies up the common room, setting all the beds, he dusts off his hands with a job well done and sleeps for basically the whole shift. then he sleeps some more (+well rested) Then equips himself and makes stone farming tools, Stone is not the best material, it is too brittle to stand up to heavy use by some clumsy brute, but it should do untill it inevitable breaks on a rock (armory skill would be better for this) (+120/500 farming toolset)

Rahal shakes off sleepyness for now, his madness forsaking even basic necessities like sleep. he chips away at the pedestal he is working on into a more shapely form, you could call it a worthy pedestal now. Bleary, his willpower carries him through the next shift, researching the force field runes, recalling Bernards contributions. His meloncholy still goes untreated and he makes inefficient progress (22/100 total force field research) Miraculously his next shift he stays awake still. Bernard talks to him while Rahal works towards the force field rune research, the rest is a blurry memmory as Rahal droops off repeatedly (+mood 28/100 research)

Raargh studies necromancy the whole day (32/200 puppet research) progress seems stifled at first, but the pages seem to turn themselves to random factoids. Raargh struggles to comprehend until he piesces some things together in his mind. Then he learns to trust the book, or the presence that seems to be guiding him. Soon he will be able to sense the ambient spirits, the first step in harnessing them for power.

DAY 16

Rahal, attempts to ignore his emotional damage and just work harder, carving an alcove into the common room, and installing a carved pedestal upon it. Although it could be mistaken for a lump of rock. Then he researches force field runes 6/100 But his melancholy distracts him.

Raargh studies necromancy out of the book, (8/200 necromancy training), It is slow going, and he has much to learn. But after hours of study he begins piecing things together, he even feels a presence as if a spirit was looking over his shoulder. But none of it is immediately useful for his mana-puppet goal. Then Raargh sleeps. But then! Raargh crafts arrows, making 4 stacks of flint arrows. Too bad he cannot carry all of this equipment at once.

Dragnar begins assembling stone beds, one after the other, crafting 3 beds made of stone. Micelus asists, smoothing the rough hewn surfaces smooth, saving Dragnar valuable time. (+3 stone beds)
Dragnar also makes a stone cabinet, nearly 7 feet tall. Too tall to even stand upright in these cramped rough hewn halls. But nearly 7 feet tall none the less, maybe it will go in a different room with a tall cieling. Dragnar ends drowsy

Micelus assists dragnar, but in his spare time identfies that the stone beds are no good for sleeping on, the moss padding might as well be set on smoothed stone ground. Even a common dwarf wouldnt sleep on a stone bed over a wooden one. Easily fixed though, Micelus concentrates on each bed in a process taking hours, turning its matter into something less conductive of heat. Wood will do (-5 stone beds +5 wood beds)

Mirran gets to sowing, but it does not come as easily as her alchemy. Still, they are servicable it seems (+1 flawed ammo necklace, +1 flawed wristband, +1 wristband). Mirran rests. But rises again to work her alchemy, Creating 2 lightsticks, 2 darksticks and a pain vial. The mobling was poking around her alchemy workshop, there is some dirt on the table.

Shigon installs a stool into his carpentry workshop. he breathes a sigh of relief as he adds an arbitrary level of comfort to his workshop, he feels he could sit here for hours now without distraction! he makes some beds, the best ones yet! (+2 beds) then claims one and sleeps.

the imp does some more digging, look at him go.

Sprite and the Black ork farm because they dont want to starve (+20 plump helmets)

Bernard finishes his healing circle, It is set into the floor, with faintly glowing runes set around it in an intricate cirucular pattern, it fits one person, who will regenerate slowly while inside, They can even sleep in it! Bernard then aids in the Force field rune research (+16/100 total reserch) Also he had slept.
