Classes are so confining. so heres the background tell me if i got it right. He was born on friday the 13th, at the stroke of midnight, as a black cat crossed the rooms threshold, He is the only son of a gypsy witch who died after childbirth, and is the minotaur result from a dark pact made to have an offspring. He was raised by the one armed troll midwife who raised him in a community of primitive outcasts. It was a hard life but he rose to the top thanks to being smarter than the rest, though being as cunning brutal and tough as the rest helped. Valuing the knowledge that helped him excell he wound out to relatively more civilised lands little by little. This led to a career as an adventurer, before suffering the curse of lichdom after failing an appropriate saving through. Now he works to learn more about the fascinating world around him less directly, with a strong emphasis on magic, his studies have led him to conclude that maybe it was a whight or mummy that ended his first-life instead, his research texts are incomplete, no matter how much his mind was expanded before his transformation.

Magical arts came very easily to him at first, but he doesn't know any serious spells yet, and although he worships Vecna and The Raven Queen they have not granted him any powers, only hints and visions. He still studies magic and makes offerings to his gods, Even Having a mysterious book of cyphers and foreign scripts whose pages shift and letters fade, that was gifted to him by his gods, but it seems more like a taunt or mockery because he still hasn't figured out even 1% of it.

Shogun sometimes looses track of time. He suspects whomever holds his phylactery occasionally has use for him, it is sometimes a nuisance. He has recently been chased away from his home by a group of young, and mostly elvish adventurers. Luckily they were ill prepared to face an undead with their arrows, and he got away with the book he was reading at the time, and has decided to find a more secluded location, perhaps with a  group of security concious like minded individuals.

Name: He has been known by many names by different communities, but he introduces himself as Shogun Hua, A Bugbear name, because he had to earn that one.
Appearance: 7 feet 2 inches, more with his horns. He has 2 curved and ribbed antelope-like horns. He wears a dark tabard with a symbol on it, covered with a sleeved black cloak, Most of his features are hidden besides his face and hooves. But his braided hair pokes out of the hood that rests perfectly on the crook at the base of his horns. He wears his goatee as a double chin braid.
Race:Minotaur-Lich
Class: uhh Warlock or Sorcerer? (are we talking DnD classes here cuz i think it would be wizard then.)
Stuff: Eerie Book, Clothes, A Cow as food whom I call Moostafa

Vampire the masquerade vampires use a reserve of blood to power their abilities so they dont need to drink blood every day, also they are not saddled with a huge amount of bizzare disadvnatages and bizzare advantages, and they can survive indirect sunlight but are weakened and sleepy or something during the daylight shift. They dont have minotaurs though. :(

otherise I'll be a Minotaur-Lich seems easier

I sense an ambivalence about being a vampire minotaur, and without less ambiguous guideliness, it would require me guessing and checking repeatedly about what would be fair or ok.
This of course assumes that my list of advantage-disadvantage tradeoffs is not acceptable. I think this is the safest guess since it get the feeling you do not like to say NO to folks. You do not mention my idea of being able to be outside while i am in animal form, so i guess thats a no also.

How about a Mummy-Minotaur? or a Lich-Minotaur?Or a Horrible Gelatinous Blob from futurama?

Edit scratch the gelatinous blob, i reread the character guidelines and i think thats too cartoony for a realistic anything

Disadvatages
Sunlight deals damage to vampire/minotaur form
Vulnerable to Holy weapons
Can only get nourishment from blood
can only heal with extra blood
weakened if lair is destroyed (like a coffin or altar or shrine)

Advantages
Undead
Shapeshift bat
Shapeshift wolf
sees well in the dark

This way i can be outside during the day if im fully covered, or just stay in wolf form or bat form. Am i missing any powers i should have? positive or negative

Edit; i can be something else its fine too, Liek a horrible gelatinous blob from futurama lol

there are both vampires and minotaurs in DND setting does that count? I think it is called Faerune or greyhawk or something. However the dnd vampire are uber powerful and can shapeshift, dominating gaze, armor skin, create vampire spawn, summon bats, ect ect ect. I wanted a more sustainable vampire that is less overpowered.

Day 36
The cobblestone fortress walls rise higher than ever, but their sturdiness near the top leaves much to be desired, but it should keep the stupider of the land creatures away.
Adwarf Sleeps during the morning, eating his fill before going out on patrol, he notices some movement behind a ridge, but by the time he gets there its has vanished. Suspicious, inspects the ground for markings, but it is no use with his meagre hunting abilities. Finally he collects wood , collecting 8 units of wood from the distant trees. (+8 wood)

Cheddarius nurses his wounds, and sits at the crafting workshop making 60 bolts out of 3 units of bone (-3 bone +60 bone bolts) He goes around the farms, they look nearly mature enough to eat by his estimation, but maybe they'll grow a little bigger with some more time. He tends to them, and manages to plant a few too (+15 days worth of planted muckroot bleh!) Muckroots are easy, just stick em in the mud so he has heard. zzz

Cog repairs his door

Cog the Glassmaker Sleeps during the morning (why do you people keep sleeping first?) and eventually takes care of the wounded dwarves, dragging urist and ochita to bed. he does what he can, luckily he is pretty damn smart, and washes the wounds out with whiskey, wraps the wounds in torn clothing. Ochita seems to be in no immediate danger of dying, and stops bleeding eventually. Urist is far healthier and his body begins the healing process without too much trouble. The other will have to heal up on their own, but at least they can walk.

Garul heps bring necessary supplies to the healing dwarves, so they dont have to go limping around for their daily food and drink.

Hrodegr collects wood, eats and sleeps. (+12 wood)

Nirur Takes blocks up to the next level of his tower, building it partially up another level The work is labor intensive, but each block fits in almost flawlessly between the others, with a little concrete filling a few gaps in the corners, the surface is unscalable by unaided climbers, and not a breeze can be felt inside, especially once a hatch goes in place. , he also creates a sturdy slot in the masonry to block the door with a large block on the first floor if neccessary. With a little advance warning it should be hard to open indeed. (-4 blocks, second story walls 8/20% complete)

Ochita Recuperates

woops thats me isnt it. Seems out of character

Revival: 3 hours enjoying my meals slowly and savourously, looking over other dwarfs shoulders as they work and micromanaging them. (you may put words in my mouth for comedic effect)
Work: minor tasks. 2 hours Installing the door to keep out the cold. 2 hours leisurely stroll checking my snares,  5 hours on a hatch 4 hours installing beds underground and helping with the butchering.
Recovery:8hours sleep

(EDIT: Updated actions, woulda done it earlier but my power went out)

Cog the Glassguy is atop the tower with Nirur
Nirur Makes it to the top of the tower
Cheddar is awoken by the howling and rushes out to battle, but it takes precious seconds to arm himself.
Cog the fisher is scratched by the claws of the werewolf as one of its arms breaches the door. it is quickly becoming tatters. He gets low, and bars the door, buying himself a second or two. The Wolfman looks the hole with one eye and sees cog pushing his bed to reinforce the door. The Wolfman seizes the door with both hands and rips it apart. Cig jumps off the bed and pulls himself into the attic. The wolfman kicks the bed out of the way and barges into the room, looking up after Cog.

Cheddarius makes it to the fortress entrance with a whole arsenal of weapons in his arms, With him is Hrodegr, Ochita and Urist. Ochita runs into the stockroom to arm themselves. Hrodegr has a shield and farther back Urist remains to operate the copper porticulus/doorway. Cheddarius accidently drops his crossbow as he breaks into a run

Cheddarius charges forward, seeing the werewolf in his sight, and hurls one wooden javelin at its back, it flies fairly straight, and makes it through the doorway at least but it falls short. He continues charging forward and throws the other one closer. It nails the werewolf in the abdomen, but Cheddarius arm is weak, or the wolfhide too tough, because the javelin only tears the hide, pierces the fat and scratches the muscle layer. Granted it was a big muscle layer.

Cog Cowers in the corner of his attack as the werewolf begins crawls towards him, but it is wounded from below as it hangs halfway out of the attic, It is enraged just a little bit more and it drops down and sees Cheddarius. It dashes madly towards him.

Hrodegr loads up cheddarius crossbow and passes it to him. Then he retreats back inside the fortress entrance. "Use the traps to our advantage!"

Cheddarius shoots his crossbow from the hip as he retreats backward as best he can, but the bolt sticks firmly in the side of the cabin instead.

Nirur lays reaches the tower top just in time to see the werewolf burst into the cabin and probably devour Cog the fisher. He lays down and braces his powerful crossbow on the very edge and wit for the werewolf to come back down. Cheddarius antics definitly draw its attention and it comes bursting out in a chase. Nirur pulls his trigger when it comes out and at the last moment compensates a hair, in the blink of an eye, for the werewolfs lunging stride. The bolt hits Skewering its neck and mangling its tail.

The wolfman rears back in pain giving Cheddar and Hrodegr enough time to get back behind the gate. The Wolf charges forward and triggers 3 of the 4 traps. Spikes erupt from the floor Striking twice in the right leg and once in the abdomen. The spikes tear gash and slice its hide. Bruise, gash , and tear its fat. Pierce and gash its muscle. and scratch and pierce its organs. One of the spikes strikes deeply. The werewolf vomits and is immobilised for a moment before the spikes retract.

Cheddarius chucks a javelin while he is able, flying deflty through the gate and shallowly wounding it. It reels from accumulated wounds.

Werewolf reaches the gate and seises it in both hands. It bashes it with one hand repeatedly and shakes it violently. The Copper gate warps and bends slowly at first, but as it stress fractures the werewolf makes a mockery of the shoddy construction of the copper gate. Its thin metal twists free and the wolf lunges at the dwarves. Cheddar, Ochita and Hrodegr are ready though , and strike first as it leaps through the air. Ochita misses with the pick, Cheddarius swings the copper axe that he made himself, and strikes it in the shoulder and it pounces, but its toughness is like no other, and the axe turns in his hand, doing negligible damage. Hrodegr leaps in its way heroically, bashing it in the face with his shield.

The werewolf bowls over hrodegr and cheddar with ease, slamming them against Ochitas seemingly immovable bulk, they are lightly squished. The wolf bites into Hrodegrs shieldrim, and slashes about with both claws, it grasps about but tears only clothing. Blodo gushes from it many wounds and it begins to look pale.

Cheddar cuts at it viciously a few times in the ensuing melee, even Urist joins in to help, it is a tumble of grasping clawing and biting, but eventually Ochita manages some space to swing his pick and strikes the werewolf through the clavicle, mortally wounding it. The werewolf is a real die hard though, and allthough seemingly stunned and bites back and gnaws Urist in the collabone, and slashes Ochita across the face, and kicks cheddarius into the adjacent wall, and easily hurls hrodegr down the hallway. It staggers on for a little bit, long enough to seize, dig in and tear apart precious ligaments of Urist and nearly disembowels Ochita before the pick finishes it off.

Nirur gets there to help. Cog the fisher continues to cower. Cog the glasser, hurls a glass bead at its corpse. Ochita is badly wounded, some of his rib bones are exposed, and Urist is badly mangled. Hrodegr is badly bruised, with minor cuts, and Cheddarius is lacerated in the face, and nearly broke his elbow from hitting the wall, and his breastplate is caved in from the kick, but it only bruised his ribs. Eral was nearly superdwarvenly tough, and unbelivably strong and very healthy even before succumbing to the curse of the werewolf.

for clarification. Nirur sleeps in the basement of tower one... there is confusion here. The where wolf is in front of the cabin, which is almost directly in front of the fortress. Cog the glassblower ran to the tower, which is outside, because if he ran towards the fortress entrance he would be withing spitting distance of the werewolf unarmed.

nows a good a time as any... so everyone gets a skillpoint if they gave a montage song during the last montage. extra style points to cog for having my favorite song. no extra points for cheddarius lol.

EDIT: screw waiting for other people full speed ahead (a little more at least)

"AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Cog the glassworker looks past his work with the statue, and hears the source of the howl. A Wh-wh-w-Wherewolf! It is now clawing furiously at a wooden door of the cabin. The Werecreature is between him and the fortress entrance he would never make it in time, but he remembers where Nirur went off to and runs back to the hatchway set into the floor of Tower1 and opens it up violently. Nirur is already up from the Blood curdling wail. He finishes loading his crossbow before going up. Takes a peek out and sees a huge werewolf battering at a door. It seems to grow in strength every second. He closes the door and bars it closed and makes his way to the roof...

Night 35... Event!

Cog the Fisher Busies himself taking off his muddy shoes and hanging his socks up to dry before going to sleep. He goes to close his cabin door but sees Eral lumbering forward "thirst...." He goes out to help as Eral collapses outside. She looks up at the moon and suffers convultions. Eral grasps Cog by the clothes and pulls him down too, Cog tries to escape but Eral is far too strong. Eral looks up with feral eyes and a mighty unibrow, growing larger, hunched and short claws and fangs before Cogs clothes rip and he is able to escape into his Cabin. He manages to close it and braces himself against it before He hears a collison and repetetive scratching against his door.

Cogs room contains, his shoes, his socks, his bed, a crossbeam to lock the door from this side, an attic.

Outside are Cog the glasser, who slept during the day. Garul and Revist, both still equiped for patrol duty. Everyone else is inside, probably in their bedroom, if they have one, in the hallway beds if they do not. Except Nirur who sleeps in his basement.
