Oh im sorry some times i don't realize when i type pplz or people ill try to keep that in mind. Well i could look how to do fix my problems on the internet with DF but i thought this was the point of this forum to help people. I know its kinda a wast of time to help step by step (and i usually get confused other wise) but its just making an effort, just like how im changing my post stile to be more appealing to the people of these forums. It would be a massive waist of my time for me to go to google and try to figure out what links are actually helpful. I'm not talking about your links just google in general and how annoying it can be. So ill reinstall and if this ever comes up again ill make a zip. lastly I would like to apologize for my grammar i personally hate trying to read some thing that says "I finds this error in my computer other day it says bad error missing what i do?" so ill check over and make sure it reads correctly

I know I have grammar problems but i honesty didn't find any flaws with "I think i might just reinstall would that solve the problem?" or spelling mistakes I would also recommend checking your post for grammar and spelling before others "People wont help you if you come across (as) being an idiot!" you kind sir are think of punctuation. Any ways so how do i make a zip file like i stated earlier i'm not a wizz with computers so you'll have to bare with me. 

yes its me again with another noob question. smelting is confusing the shit out of me i ran into a lot of chalk and was like mmmk i could use this so off i go to wiki only to realize that i now have to learn a lot more then the bare minimum of making a fort. so what i grasped from the wiki is that chalk along with other materials is a flux material and is used to um... make pig tails and steel so again im like cool looks like ill have some steel ill trade for a lot of food. now after i read up on how to make steel it turns out i need pig tails chalk and charcoal and then it turns out i need chalk and charcoal to make pig tail and i just sorta got really confused so basically heres my question can any one sum up smelting in a more easy to under stand way and can i only make weapons out of steel?     

i dont know how to upload saves im not a real wizz with computers. All i did was delete the aquifer or what ever it is (that's what i meant by something)

thanks a lot for your help im sorry about the wiki when i typed in dwarf fortress workshop it came up with nothing so thanks again mmk I know this should be in DF bugs but there not really answering my question or really helping so my entire population is all females at first i thought oh its properly a coincidences but then a caravan came and they where all females and then a migration of 9 dwarfs came again all females the only mod i download was maygreen witch is a graphical upgrade and i got rid of aqufina (it was advice from the fish guy  )
so what im thinking reinstall? what do YOU think     

well i stared out with 7 then 4 more came at first thought it was a coincidence but when some more dwarfs arrived the ywhere all female as well
