Based on the AS-DB-HF-23's light and sturdy frame

That's a very, very heavy gullwing as in their drawings. I consider that Canon.

My vote's already been tallied, but I think UR has the right of it here. All of their aircraft are heavy and slow (for aircraft, anyway.) A maneuverable biplane won't have to be especially speedy to do circles around them, plus it's more able to deal with the damage their ground emplacements will inevitably inflict. It'll also probably be cheaper. Besides, a modular mount for a weapon isn't that big a design hurdle.
I specifically don't want something that can be Boomed and Zoomed by a dive bomber. And the Mosquito looks prone to fall on this in GM terms.

Then let us make camouflage.
Do you think that there can be camo effective enough to hide a tank from the air?

In very particular situations... Maybe? Like, it woudn't work as well in the desert for obvious reasons, but in the more forested areas/mountains, it's... Mildly possible, I guess? Like, for the forests, we could just put a whole bunch of shrubbery on the tank. In the mountains, giant gray tarps that could help them look like rocks or something. I am not suggesting we do anything related to camo this turn, I'm just listing possibilities.
That's fair enough. And that's why I really wanted to back the Mosquito but sadly can't.

thermoplastics would get us a partial

partials are worthless, see: flamethrower tech

Do you know that Fiberglass comes two years later in history than the first mass production of thermoplastics? We can also settle on Thermosets (i.e. Bakelite)

Synthetic rubber was developed in 1926.

well, i do genuinely believe the fiberglass is worth it
Unlike Rockets or Shaped charges, which a sufficiently wretched mind can come upon on, fibreglass is too novel a concept and I'm pretty certain its expensive.

Hell if fibreglass is good why won't jump onto thermoplastics?

Not sure coleslaw

And UR, we probably could convert an existing biplane design into the utility aircraft you're suggesting as well.
Model 1. We are using them to drop airmail remember?

As I said Mosquito is not meant to stay main fighter for a long time, designing monoplane, WW2 style fighter will be needed in the next few turns. But Mosquito is useful short term and will stay useful long term, while yellowjacket will be replaced by a better air superiority fighter.

I don't understand why you think that Mosquito will lose in a role of day fighter. Their fighter is not that great. It is converted dive bomber. They need next generation fighter to counter Mosquito
And then we have a dedicated fighter. Designed for Zoom and Boom tactics. Against a dive bomber with more Dihedral than the Stuka. Still we are losing in the air.

In principle the Mosquito is what we needed today.

But for the time being, I have to support the Yellowjacket. I'm unsure of the effects of losing the skies in the morning, then winning that back at night will be favourable under our GM.

[count my vote as an official hold unless GM clarifies his understanding on night raiding]

Well, on a strategic level, Arztotska is winning. On a tactical level, it's Moskurg.
By "tactically", that means "GM believes that Moskurgan designs work better than expected, while failing continuously to understand Arstotzkan designs".

I can see UR aiming for a Po-2, but can you at least please include a searchlight in the assembly?

I might be gaming the system, but I fear our GM would not recognize the strength of such a plane. A better fighter is a more straightforward answer to their air superiority.

Actually, we do have some experience in urban combat. There were some small towns in the plains which we fought in for a bit, before they got levelled by artillery.
at least not for the state of the arc equipment.

I fear their tanks and planes, but sadly anything AT is becoming too toxic to deploy.

So any consensus here? Urban fighting is something new to us.

I think we can just assume the average Moskurgan officer would instruct their soldiers not to use the ineffectual AP or APHE rounds instead of the HE ones.
