DF Suggestions / Piles

Hello.

When miner dwarf digout tunnels he/she eat soil... )) it will be great to digout soil and make pile of in predefined zone or in front of tunnel entrance. It is good for making ground walls, base for any on-ground construstion and give ability to fill pits, trench, block passges, flood rivers and etc.

Hello.
I still hope to see DF with simple graphics animation based on tiles and sprites. I like classic RPG games:

Questions:
1) Is it possible to make in current version tile sets larger than 16[16 pixels... my father hasn't sharp eyes and can't see anything with this tiny tilesets?
2) I want to participate in graphic development.

Where i can read about graphic development in DF?

Ok. Sorry for my English..

I disignate smooth work to floor area which i've made of stone. Keys D-S and Enter-movekeys-Enter, say 3x3 square. This area isn't highlighted and dwarves don't smooth it as i see... I mean it isn't highlighted, i don't know disignated job or not and i don't see any progress.

Questions:
Is it possible to do smooth in this tile set?

Is there tiles for smoothed itams?

Because in ascii version all fine!!!!!!!

I'm confused about smoothing stones in MayDay version. I can't smooth any areas of stone floor or walls. Help me! Is it work in this tileset?

Extension of inventory will be good for hauling. Dwarves can take BIN or use BACKPACKs for carrying staff from dead foes. Now, one dwarf carry one thing... so slow.

If your pet are totaly suck... just mark with Pit zone river bank and make it float! It's better and faster than slay them in butchery. Have fun! ))

Hello.
I want to offer a suggestoin about "the personal inventory".

First:
As anyone know each dwarf has some stuff he carry anytime like cloth, weapon, armour. But interface to display that he has is hurts me... )) As anyone may see in other ASCII-like games inventory builds in order to "Head: My good helm", "Body: My good amour" and etc. But in DF mode we see inverted version. IMHO this is painfully to perception!
Second:
It will be great ability to change stuff right in inventory screen from list of typied items like in building menu!

What are you think about that?

is there any function to learn dwarf to make new rooms for new comers. i'll dig by myself but can they setup room with furniture?

is there any auto management control in game or i must do all thing by myself?
