I've never actually located adimantine. it makes me sad. i wish i could get reveal to work.

make it where your miner mines the entire bottom level, and then remove it before he litterly mines it, then try the reveal tool, though I never use the reveal tool because it stops me from making armor out of Adamantine, magma buildings, and some other stuff

You don't have to do that if you don't want (and don't mind a 20 db artifact). Just change the reaction to produce the actual metal, you can change reactions without needing to regen.

It's a "Metallic Keg Hammer". There must be a bug, probably a reaction that doesn't create an actual metal. The default materials are usually absurdly heavy (except for leather, which is absurdly hot).

That said, due to a quirk in dwarven physics dwarves can lift items of any weight that aren't fastened down, they'll just walk very slow.

I agree with the reaction bug probably being the culprit, because along with insane weight any buggy metal would have no value (multiplying by zero is fun) which would explain the value of $20. I'd say check the reactions you have for the materials used in the Hammer, maybe if you find the culprit and correct it your hammer will become lighter as well as more valuable.
ohh, lol when i modded in Mithril i seem to have spelt it like Mithrli in the REACTION folder... well i guess this is a bust, now i gotta start over :/

I had an immanent who i set up to do all my metal work, And he Abandoned from society, At first he did not take over a building till I constructed a forge, then he had claimed the forge and he took about 3 bars of iron, and created this!

how can i at least move it somewhere? It appears to be the worst,and most foulest thing i ever seen, but i guess having a legendary weapon-smith is my payment.

for me to farm, i would have to mud the ground, which i suck when it involves moving water in any shape or form

Muddying some rock to make a farm is quite simple actually, and requires no hydraulic engineering at all.  Simply dig out a room the size of your intended farm, then dig out access above the room, channel out some holes, and designate those as a pond and your dwarves will get buckets and start dumping water down into your farming room.  Once all tiles have had 1/1 water on them and are muddy you can remove the pond zone and build your farm.

Oh my god, are you serious? i was using floodgates and waterpumps but to find out you can just do that!

Try to dig some side channels, they often spawn turtles for me (I mean unnatural water source).

Also, if there's a dead body in the water, it may attrack vermin fish  as normal dead bodies attract (spawn) flies. Note that it's not a real fact, only a proposition.
i made a 4x4 pond in my meeting hall and i have a bunch of turtles in there now, and i am seeing salmon, ohh and i threw like 4 human bandits in the water and i seem to be able to catch fish, so now i dont have to butcher all my cats for food.

You may just want to do it anyway. :D

Although, relying on fish is still a bad idea...having livestock(kittens, cows, whatever) to butcher can help, but it can still be really hard to sustain an entire fortress on that.  Good luck if farming is out of the question.

how much fish did you catch to get two legendary fishers!?
i usuly just let them fish about 1 entire season every year, but i accidently let them fish for like 2.
it will never have any fish ever again.
i caught two salmons, 7 catfish, and 5 roaches, but then it became no fishies again, and that was 2 minutes after it said no more fishies in the river(brook) so i guess the delta have some kind of fish spawn.

I accidently left 2 legendary fishers fishing at a rivers delta and now it has no fishies... anyone know how long it will take for them to come back because they are my main food source :-\
