Well, I conquered the RNG so I'm fine with whatever choice. All my commanders even got some stars for it :P
Restarting is fine though, seeing how a couple of people stalled alongside you. Wouldn't be fair to beat you all that way :D

Seriously, a Vampire count assault on my capital on THE SECOND TURN. Wiped my PD out without losing a single soldier and seeing how I only have 1 other undeveloped province I can't train a new army. I might die in the next turn which should proof to be a record for fastest dying nation ever :P

I was following this very closely until more and more videos of it appeared. The game looked really bland and I'm not just talking about the graphics. Something didn't feel right. Still, I foolishly bought the game because I thought the company was a great change for the industry. Gamer's Bill of Rights and stuff.

Urh, a friend of mine believed she was a wicca as well but eventually she heard the voice of jesus telling her that she should stop doing magic as it was the devil's tool or something. I wouldn't take the stories about magic and wicca's that serious :P If it worked, why wouldn't everyone be doing it?

Edit: I know I picked R'lyeh first but I've never done really well with R'lyeh, I just like the nation itself. I think I'd do better with Well of Urd :)

Why do you assume they die in one hit? The game even has an X-COM difficulty mode which supposedly makes it ballbreakingly hard. I haven't seen any videos lately but even if a video showed a muton getting oneshotted, this doesn't mean that they are now weaker but only that the game was most likely on a lower difficulty so everyone could pick&play the game without failing miserably in front of the crowd
