so, i'm playing as Succubi, and a whole bunch of people are showing as having no Succibi language name, although their translated name shows up fine. My latest game even has this happening to an entire civ.

the non-random seeds provided for the Garden Of Gaia are consistly crashing when genning it at year 80. i don't suppose theres' any non-obvious error log i could look at to figure out why?

Edit: When i've only set Orcs to be playable in forts in the launcher and caves to be visible, to be specific.

mild request while you're mucking about: reactions to make a full suit of metal armor in the factory, instead of just mail shirts.

Doesn't have to include a shield, since you might want your dudes to have 2H weapons, but it gets annoying to put in a half-dozen manager requests and completely clog my forges to get enough equipment to completely cover one dude.

1)i see a Make Bone Pick option under my manager screen, but i can't see it actually appear under any of the obvious workshops. Is this leaking over from Orc Mode reactions or something? Need more early picks for skeletal horde

2)Execute Prisoner for Skeleton. Prisoner is one square north of the center of the Execution Chamber. Reaction completes, skeleton wanders out, prisoner still there. Are they meant to be in the exact center of the Execution Chamber or something?

edit: Heck, even in the center of the chamber it doesn't work right.

If anyone wants to try "fixed" magic, along with magic weapons and runerobes actually adding their benefit, feel free to check out how awful my first attempt at MDF modding is.

I didn't modify other races, like gnomes, but the changes might affect their "on equip" items that previously didn't do anything. Or it might cause your house to spontaneously combust.

Just to be clear, has this been incorporated into the latest MDF versions?

Is there some sort of workaround for this One Prisoner in Execution Pit = Infinite Skellies/Ghouls thing? A bit too cheaty for my tastes, but i would rather like having some early use for prisoners.

Edit: Oh, and i just had my starting warlock get his neck broken(and survived! Not paralyzed even!) by a rock troll and he didn't try throwing any spells or anything at it in retaliation. Is that Slade Boulder spell that all warlocks supposedly start with not an attack spell or something?

i most certainly did take the Nightmare Mode option, it even had the screen talking about Arch-Conservative Agendas and what not.

A question: Did Nightmare Mode go and get nerfed sometime in the last few releases? When i start a new game in it, i only see that the President and his Merry Men have turned Arch-Conservative, all the laws, Supremes, Congress, etc. are at their normal levels for the start of a normal game.

Speaking of which, has anyone noticed the SA forums going through a massive flip-flop lately?

I suddenly see nothing but a annoncement link for t-shirt sales when i go into a forums.somethingawful.com folder, but the archives.somethingawful.com seem to be completely up to the minute current, but has far fewer page views allowed for unregistered users than the regular forums (or so it seems)

Has anybody been noticing this at all?

umm, i'm still getting lots of messages from dwarves trying to get at the channeel to haul out the body clogging it up and drag his cltohes to the shop.

Existed from a save before the current version, if that means anything.

it tends to get really speedy near the start of the game, at least until the 1st migration. After that, the speed is quite good.

long and two-handed swords are a tad too unwieldy for dwarves to handle, i think.
