Hi, got prodded by Webby. Sorry for being AWOL. Rereading now.

We're suspecting me for a. not announcing that I'm a double voter while b. taking actions that make it clear I'm a double voter?

Behemoths

1. Pass analysis and/or topo preliminary exams. - It's just going to have to be after summer break.
2. Clear algebra and analysis incompletes and new combinatorics incomplete. - *grin* WELCOME TO MY HELL
3. Prepare for and pass JLPT N1.
4. Apply to 8 opportunities I don't feel I'm sure of getting.
- I applied for a grant through the school [PENDING]
- I applied to be a directed reading project mentor [REJECTED, try again in the fall]
- I applied for a summer workshop [ACCEPTED]
- I applied for a summer abolitionist teaching reading group [PENDING]

5. Keep a journal. - I haven't written in my journal for quite a while, but I also haven't destroyed the journal even though I very much want to.
6. Depression treatment with magnets with needles. - The psychiatrist tried to put me on another stimulating antidepressant instead of giving the magnets and has lost my trust. I put myself on a lower dose of my normal antidepressant, which has been great so far, and am working on finding a reliable source of acupuncture after having tried it out once to great success.
7. Full Moon Teas - February was awesome! I think I missed March. Need to figure out when the April tea is.
8. Martial arts practice. Goal is to regularly practice 4x weekly by the end of the year. - We're about to start a new quarter. I'm planning to sign up for twice weekly practice.

9. Continue to downsize possessions.
10. Reading goals (see the Hot Fresh Reading Challenge) - I read a few books. I'm definitely reading more interesting books this year.
11. Tithe 10% again this year and consistently volunteer three hours per month. - The volunteering is going fine, I'm a bit behind on the tithing since I think I've probably only given 10% of the year total and we're 25% through the year. I'll look for some more opportunities to help.
12. New Year Cards

I'm surprised I didn't list anything yet this year ... I read a few things so far. I stopped reading because I was in a whirlwind of girlfriend acquisition, but now the girlfriend is acquired, I'm relaxing and reading a little more ;D

Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao
A Primate's Memoir
Alberic the Wise by Norton Juster
Red Milk by Sjón
The Orphans of Davenport by Marilyn Brookwood
The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System vol. 1

Well stay strong Max, whatever you do. I can't imagine what it is like, to live in a state that's slipping into totalitarianism.
Thank you.

If you or any friends can use money to leave the country, when you can leave, PM me. I have a couple hundred dollars at least I can send you.

Same for you and your friends Strongpoint, I had money saved to help my childhood friend from Ukraine but his family and friends are in the east and he says there is nothing that can be done to help get them out short of action by world governments. So if I can help you a little I'll do that.

Roden

I have three more problems to submit before I can be done with my complex analysis course, back later. Take care y'all.

Which Russian state TV editor? We have no records of this man ever existing, its all capitalist propaganda.

Quote
During an evening news broadcast on March 14, Channel One editor Marina Ovsyannikova ran on stage with an anti-war banner that read

Pasted while noticing that the joke probably flew over my head...

Trans people unable to leave Ukraine for the usual documentation reasons

Also, allegedly there is a plan to purge (=torture, kill) GLBT Ukranians in the event of a successful annexation.

Russian media and politicos kept bringing up WWII in the leadup to this invasion. Makes sense to me that they might be tempted to return to the glorious Soviet tactics of olde.

The women are going to be fucking pissed about this, a major complaint in the past 70 years is that "the marriageable ones left or died at the front."

Holding you all in my heart.

Can you link me to the fundraiser for his mom? I will send money.

I'm sorry that he has passed on but it is clear that he was well-loved. Now and in eternity.
