Dwarven justice in action, a hammering with a bit of flair for the crowd.  Unfortunately he didn't survive long enough to have his full sentence carried out.  Must remember to be gentler once they're unconscious.

((That's a good question - when can we use our winnings to buy better gear?  Oh, and how much XP did Vulcar get in that?))

20xp in armour user, 12xp in hammerman and 3xp in wrestler. Dwarves like Vulcar don't fight long enough to get lots of experience.

I've been thinking about the Tournament Rule I made where you can't buy stuff during a tourny. The only real reason I made that is because i'm having to rely on people to check the topic and if only one person doesn't then they're at a disadvantage. If I knew that all 8 winners would check the topic and decide if they want to change anything then i'd be all for it. Most have but a couple haven't.

I'll tell you what, i'm going to mass pm all the winners so far and ask them if they want to change anything for the quarter-finals. I'll do the same with that last two winners and if I can get replies from everyone then i'll go ahead with it.

I've also thought of something that i'd like an opinion on. As you all know many of these fights have been determined by who gets the first hit in. I've tested this and if I give every single dwarf 1 skill point in their weapon skill, armour user, shield user and wrestler then the fights rely on equipment much more. It's possible that this could have effected the outcome of earlier fights, but it's too late for that. At the end of Round One I could do this to all the dwarves and i'd like to know if that's alright.

Was having some weird trouble trying to edit and post but I fixed it.

I put down the wrong last name for Nanothnir, I don't know where I got Fordflag. Fix'd.

Barbarossa: You didn't clear the wall into the stands, so no.

The Phoenix Opening: Round 1

Match 6: Vulcar Torchhonor vs. Barbaros “The Destroyer” Sealtalked

Rith: Dwarves and dwarvettes, we’re here at the Phoenix Amphitheater about to begin match 6 of The Phoenix Opening.

Stakud: Dwarvette, that’s a brand of wagon isn’t it?

Rith: …Two dwarves with a similar, and so far successful approach to fighting. Sacrificing body armour for quality weapons for speed and agility. The first to enter the arena is the only lady dwarf in this tournament, Vulcar Torchhonor!

Spoiler: Vulcar (click to show/hide)

Stakud: Don’t count her out because her beard isn’t as thick, this is one dwarf you don’t want to mess with. The quality of her war hammer and shield is the same as what Nichaey brought to the table and we all know what Nichaey did to Neckbreaker in the fourth match.

Rith: True that and Nichaey won that match without any head protection whatsoever while Vulcar is taking extra precautions with a copper cap AND a helm. But, Vulcar is going to have to escape the merciless bronze spear of her opponent who is entering the arena now, it’s Barbaros “The Destroyer” Sealtalked!

Spoiler: Barbaros (click to show/hide)

Rith: As we saw in the previous match-up the spear can prove to be a dangerous weapon and in the hands of the right dwarf can deliver a fatal hit with one well-aimed thrust. The war hammer can cause devastating injuries as well but is more useful over multiple attacks. Barbaros also has a shield and head protection, but not nearly as good as Vulcar’s. Neither has a significant advantage over the other, so how do you think this match is going to go?

Stakud: I think we’re going to witness another Urist McUrist victory. We got two incredibly dangerous weapons in the hands of two dwarves who want to kill each other; the first to get a direct hit in will domin-
Rith:

Rith: I’m going to stop you right there because this match has started! Vulcur takes the initiative in charging towards Barbaros who has braced his spear against his foot and taking aim directly at Vulcar. Vulcar uses her shield as a battering ram to deflect the spear and BAM! A surprise attack from behind the shield Vulcar takes Barbaros’ legs out from under him and Barbaros is on the ground! OH! With a might swing of her hammer Vulcar crushes Barbaros’ left arm, and then the right! Oh dear, Vulcar is taking out Barbaros limb by limb, I don’t think he is conscious anymore! Yes, Barbaros is unconscious and Vulcar is continuing the brutal assault!

Stakud: SMASH! SMASH!

Rith: Riveting Stakud, Riveting. This is nothing short of a mauling. Vulcar is STILL attacking Barbaros like nothing I’ve ever seen. I don’t think there is a bone in his body that isn’t shattered to pieces. I honestly can’t tell if Barbaros is alive or dead at this point.

Stakud: SMASH!

Rith: Did your mother drop you as a baby or something?

Stakud: Actually she threw me at the mayor. He had it coming.

Rith: I’m sure. Hold on, Barbaros is- Yes, Barbaros is flying through the air now. Oh! He almost made it into the first level stand but just came short of the arena entrance. I think I can conclude at this point that Barbaros is dead and Vulcar is the winner.

Stakud: Really?

Rith: Pretty sure. Anyways, as the unfortunate cleaning crew comes in to take away the bloody mess that is Barbaros’ corpse, lets recap what just happened. Vulcar comes into the arena, Barbaros comes into the arena, Vulcar proceeds to tenderize Barbaros. Anything else?

Stakud: SMASH!

Rith: I’m not getting paid enough for this. So, Vulcar wins this match-up with an impressive display of brutality to move on to the quarter-finals where she will battle Nanothnir for a spot in the semi-finals. There are only two more matches left to decide the last quarter-final bout, the first of which will be, in my opinion, an even better match-up then Deathlord vs. Nanothnir. It’s ToonyMan vs. Damug "The Berserker", coming up next!

The Phoenix Opening: Round 1

Match 5: Geshud Deathlord vs. Nanothnir Shadowstrike

Rith: Four dwarves have moved on to the quarter-finals so far and it’s time to add another in what is sure to be one of the most unpredictable fights yet. You can’t call either of these dwarves heavily armoured but they’re not lightly armoured either. Look, Geshud Deathlord is the first to enter the arena!

Spoiler: Deathlord (click to show/hide)

Stakud: Geshud, or Deathlord as I’m told he prefers to be called is the only mace user in this competition. Some may argue though that use of the mace and the war hammer are almost identical, but many usually prefer one over the other.

Rith: What really makes this fight interesting however is Deathlords opponent who we see entering the arena now. Am I saying this right? Nanothnir Shadowstrike!

Spoiler: Nanothnir (click to show/hide)

Rith: Nanothnir loosely translates to Neverone, not exactly a name you want when going up against someone called ‘Deathlord’.

Stakud: You made a funny!

Rith: Har har. Now I say that it’s Nanothnir that makes this fight interesting because of choice of weapon and the choice to fight without a shield. There’s no question that he has the better weapon, an exceptionally made copper spear that could cause all sorts of nasty damage, but he has no shield. Neither dwarf has a speed advantage over the other so it all comes down to experience, of which they have little of, and equipment. A standard mace with shield and bronze armour vs. a deadly spear, no shield and standard armour. Who’s to say which dwarf has the advantage here?

Stakud: I don’t know and I’m not prepared to make a prediction, but it looks like the fight it about to begin. There’s the signal and these goes Nanothnir, spear raised high over his head and Deathlord taking a small step before pulling that shield in front of him to catch the first thrust. Nanothnir leaps into the air his spear glances of Deathlords shield and into his arm, it looks to only be a graze. Nanothnir, not being able to slow down slams into Deathlord and knocks him over!

Rith: Deathlord scrambles to get up but not before Nanothnir gets in another thrust of his spear to the leg. Again it doesn’t look to be a serious wound.

Stakud: Both combatants are on their feet and look at them go! Deathlord is swinging his mace wildly but with incredible agility Nanothnir evades them. Nanothnir, keeping his distance from the swinging mace tries to get in a good thrust but Deathlord has no trouble blocking them with his shield. Nanothnir, seeing an opening charges forward! The attack is blocked but once against Deathlord is knocked off footing. Quickly getting up Death swings but misses. Without a shield Nanothnir having to parry all these vicious attacks by Deathlord, and parrying he is.

Rith: Deathlord however is employing his shield to great use in keeping that spear-tip away from his body, when he’s not on the ground. What a great match-up we have here as both dwarves are continuing to try and get that one good hit in. Block! Dodge! Block! Jump away! HIT!

Stakud: Oh, dear, that might end this! Deathlord took a direct hit to his chest from Nanothnir’s spear, that went in real deep and Deathlord is stumbling around. Wait, where is he going?

Rith: Deathlord, after taking a direct hit seems to be making his way to the exit. Though it’s hard to see with the blood that is already caked onto the arena floor he looks to be bleeding badly. I think he’ll find that door to be locked but wait; no it doesn’t look like he’s going to make it. Falling to his knees and slumping over Deathlord looks to have succumbed to blood loss and died. With his spear Nanothnir turns him over to check, and yes he’s dead. Nanothnir, after a long and excitement filled battle has defeated Deathlord!

Stakud: And without a shield to boot, amazing.

Rith: It sure was. It will be Nanothnir Shadowstrike who will move on to the quarter-finals to fight the winner of our next match-up, a fight reminiscent of Urist McUrist vs. Led Warleach, but more evenly matched. It’s Vulcar vs. Barbaros “The Destroyer” when we come back!

You got me. What's his last name?

Patience little seal.

Sorry to bog this down with the technical details, but how are you getting the dwarves to fight?  If you use DFCompanion to change one to an invader they change to an @, but the video shows that both are still normal.

I have the dwarves stand a little ways away from each other and turn one into a zombie. I one-step untill the other dwarf recognizes and paths towards it. I turn the zombie back into a dwarf, turn the other dwarf into a zombie and do the same thing. Turning the zombie back into a dwarf I heal them both and they still see each other as enemies.

Also, in the beginning you asked for fighting styles.  Is that just for the commentary, or do you have the dwarves actually fighting like that?

Just for commentary, provided the fights allow it.

921
At this rate, Barbaros will do well.

You're going to love your dwarfs last name

922
The funny thing is, Nichaey only got 2 points of experience in that entire fight. No experience in shield user at all, all it took was that first good hit. Weapons seem to be pretty overpowered even at 3x their real price. Hopefully the fights will last longer when the dwarves aren't slowed by armour.

The Phoenix Opening: Round 1

Match 4: Nichaey Gearedwarm vs. Necksnapper Roughnessair

Rith: Welcome back, I’m Rith Rithdur and we are approaching the midway point in round 1 with this next match-up.

Stakud: It looks like we’re not wasting any time in starting match 4 with Nichaey Gearedwarm entering the arena!

Spoiler: Nichaey (click to show/hide)

Rith: It’s plain to see what Nichaeys strategy is looking at what he’s brought to this fight, stop any attacks with that beautifully made shield and follow up with a devastating attack. The battle axe has not been that well represented so far in this tournament but I think Nichaey could show us what it is capable of here tonight.

Stakud: We shall see, but look! Here comes Nichaeys opponent from the other side of the arena, it’s… a copper colossus?

Rith: That’s no copper colossus, that’s Necksnapper Roughnessair, covered from head to toe in thick copper armour!

Spoiler: Necksnapper (click to show/hide)

Stakud: By Armok you’re right. Look at that pudgy little bastard, he can barely walk! How is he supposed to fight wearing all that let alone break necks? Maybe if he fell on Nichaey.

Rith: It is true that this approach has not yet won a match-up but there’s a first for everything.

Stakud: If there was ever a match of complete polar opposites this is it, the light and fast Nichaey with the battle axe, the heavy defense tank Necksnapper with the war hammer, and there they go!

Rith: Nichaey charges forward like a dwarf to a beer barrel and Neckbreaker lumbers towards Nichaey like a zombie troll!

Stakud: Nichaey takes a swing and OH! Nichaeys axe connects with Necksnappers mid section and leaves a great big gash!

Rith: The force of the blow has sent Necksnapper flying backwards and oh dear, his entrails have shot out through the wound! Necksnapper is bowed over in pain, looking very sick.

Stakud: Vomit! I see vomit!

Rith: Congratulations, now back to the fight. Nichaey charges onward and hacks at Nechsnappers left arm. He give it a second hack and there goes the arm along with any chance Necksnapper has to win this fight. Nichaey, continuing the brutal assault gets into good rhythm attacking the limbs, but the damage is already done. There is the killing blow!

Stakud: Nichaey, with a clean and accurate slice has cloven Necksnapper body in two, wow.

Rith: Urist has got to be wondering he’s going to have to do to beat this dwarf. Nichaey wins this fight with a truly flawless victory, Necksnapper wasn’t even given a chance to get an attack or block in. Truly an amazing performance by Nichaey as he wins this round 1 fight to move on to the quarter-finals.

Stakud: You know what, I’m starting to get tired of these one sided fights. I want to see some brawling! I want to see two dwarves fighting tooth and nail, I want to see the winner have to pick up his limbs after the fight and walk out with them raised high above his head! PLEASE tell me we have a good matchup coming up?

Rith: Oh I think we are going to see some very good matchups coming up in the second half of this round, looking down the list I can’t see any of these fights being boring. Kicking off the second half of Round One will be Geshud Rashilul vs. Nanothnir Shedimabod! We’ll be right back.

To see a video of the fight click here.

As it stands now, either Fireheart, Diego “The Smasha”, Urist McUrist or Nichaey will take the first spot in the finals.

Loser battles will still happen, the order of fights is just changed so that the tournament can end sooner. After the tourny is over then we can get to the matches we want to see/haven't been done.

TerminatorII: We're only a 5th of the way through the tournament and I may be setting limits on how many more people I take in so if you could repost your request when sign-ups reopen that would be great.

I could get through all 31 matches pretty fast if I only wanted to give brief descriptions but that wouldn't be any fun. As it stands it could take over a month to get through them all so i'm changing the tournament to be knockout. Here is an updated bracket listing, if you haven't read matches 2 and 3 this contains spoilers:

The Phoenix Opening: Round 1

Match 3: Urist McUrist Hatchetpanted vs. Led Warleach Giltmouth

Rith: Here we are at the Phoenix Amphitheater to bring you match 3 of The Phoenix Opening. Match 3 and the arena floor is already highlighted with a lovely shade of blood red.

Stakud: That is a lot of blood out there… I think some vomit green would compliment it very well.

Rith: You always have to take it a step further don’t you? Moving on, our next match-up consists of two combatants who will attempt to use speed to gain the upper hand, a tactic that has proved to be very effective in earlier fights.

Stakud: We’ve learned that speed is huge part of winning a fight against heavily armoured dwarves, but in a matchup like this so early on in their careers it can go either way.

Rith: Do you have some kind of lever in your head that when pulled changes you from a clown to someone that can make intelligent comments?

Stakud: Can we stay on topic?

Rith: Yes, yes we can because Urist McUrist has entered the arena! The crowd is going wild!

Spoiler: Urist McUrist (click to show/hide)

Rith: Urist will be fighting with the same weapon of choice as Fireheart, an exceptionally crafted copper short sword. Combined with a good quality shield this set-up has proved to be very effective in battle.

Stakud: Urist McUrist, his parents must really like daggers.

Rith: And here comes Led Warleach, a dwarf seemingly not worried about getting hit.

Spoiler: Led Warleach (click to show/hide)

Stakud: I’m not really sure what to make of this setup. Led is one of two dwarves in this tournament to not have a buckler or shield. A dwarf can only be so fast and choosing to not have a shield wouldn’t have slowed him down at all, so why this decision?

Rith: I had a talk with him before this tournament began and he didn’t seem worried about it, with that iron short sword of his I think his game plan is to get in a quick kill shot before his opponent can react. I should mention that Led is the only dwarf in this competition with iron equipment.

Stakud: I think we’re about to begin so we’ll see how this game plan works out. Urist McUrist vs. Led Warleach! LETS GET IT ON!

Rith: The signal has been given and Led is off! Urist hasn’t budged from his position and looks to be waiting for Led to come to him.

Stakud: Here comes Led with an attack to the left and it’s blocked!

Rith: And he just kept going, flinging himself into Urist and they are both sprawled out on the ground! Getting up Urist strikes and connects with Leds left hand!

Stakud: I think it’s only a flesh wound, Led still looks fine!

Rith: Ow, Not anymore. With a deadly thrust of his sword Urist has delivered a devastating wound to Leds right arm, I think it’s stuck!

Stakud: Led doesn’t seem to even notice the chunk of metal sticking in his arm as he continues to attack Urist!

Rith: He’s got heart I’ll tell you that, but he’s got to be hurting right now. Urist is twisting that sword in Leds arm and you can see the pain in his face. There, it looks like Led has had all he could take and passed out. Urist is still twisting that sword, opening that wound wider. Look at all that blood.

Stakud: I think, yes I think Led has now died, from blood loss no doubt.

Rith: That will do it. Urist is raising his blood covered short sword in to air to the satisfaction of the crowd and the crowd is loving it!

Stakud: Led battled bravely but when you have two fast dwarves, one with a shield and one without, the outcome should be obvious. I’m sure Led will go on to winning many fights in the future, but right now the victory belongs to Urist McUrist as he moves onto the Quarter-finals. I can’t wait, I really can’t.

Rith: Me neither, but there are still five more matches to go. Next up we have… Nichaey vs. Necksnapper! If you don’t count shields as armour then you could call Nichaey the least armoured dwarf in this tournament while Necksnapper is THE most armoured dwarf in this tournament. If any dwarf is to prove that a good defense can beat out speed and quality equipment then it will be in this fight, you don’t want to miss it.

The Phoenix Opening: Round 1

Match 2: Olon “Workerdrone” Ironglove vs. Diego “The Smasha” Glazesoared

Rith: Welcome back, we’re here live with a special guest, Biblet “The Superior” who suffered a terrible loss to Fireheart in the opening matchup. How do you feel Biblet?

Biblet: Surprisingly good, the last thing I remembered was a terrible pain in my leg, and then I woke up inside the Phoenix Chamber with no injuries whatsoever. I had no idea what was going on until one of the dwarves working here told me I lost the fight.

Stakud: The fight itself wasn’t really much of a contest, what happened out there?

Biblet: He was just too fast, everytime I tried to regain my composure he’d land another damaging blow. I wish I could have done more, but what can you do. Fireheart was the better fighter out there and I wish him the best in the rounds to come.

Rith: Thank you Biblet, truly a humble warrior. Now onto the next matchup, introducing Olon “Workerdrooooooooone” Ironglove!

Spoiler: Olon (click to show/hide)

Stakud: Olon's choice of weapon is the battle axe, of slightly better quality then the one Biblet choose. The biggest surprise here is that Olon has opted to fight without any head protection whatsoever, other then that Olon’s setup is reminiscent of Biblet whom we all know took a savage beating in the first round.

Rith: I wouldn’t count Olon out just yet as Diego “The Smasha” Glazesoared enters the arena.

Spoiler: Diego (click to show/hide)

Rith: Though Diego has chosen the light and fast approach, his equipment choices vastly differ from Fireheart. Diego will be fighting with the war hammer, a fine buckler and a fine plate mail. That plate mail is extremely heavy but with only a hammer and a buckler he is still much lighter then Olon.

Stakud: Olon vs. Diego, Workerdrone vs. Smasha, here we go!

Rith: Both combatants are charging towards each other! Diego is definitely the faster dwarf here and there they go!  Both dwarves are attacking ferociously and blocking with great skill!

Stakud: Wow, we may actually have a fight here! But wait! Olon has lost his Shield!

Rith: Diego, with a savage attack to Olons shield hand caused him to drop his shield. He is in trouble.

Stakud: With shield gone Olon is taking a pounding from Diego’s war hammer!

Rith: Olon is hurting badly. Ouch! With a heavy swing Diego has just sent Olon flying through the air!

Stakud: Look at Diego! He’s like an elephant stalking his prey!

Rith: Olon, laying on the ground bloodied and beaten is continuing to take hits, this is going to be over real soo- OH MY GOD!

Stakud: Wow, it looks like Diego has finally decided to take advantage of Olons unprotected head and with a single blow has smashed it into his body! Olons head is nothing but an unrecognizable mass as Diego scores a decisive victory. One might say that Diego has lived up to his name with a smashing performance!

Rith: How witty of you.

Stakud: You’re just mad that I said it first.

Rith: Yes, I’m crushed, or should I say smashed?

Stukud: …that didn’t even make sense.

Rith: Anyways, As Olons lifeless body is being dragged away Diego is running around the arena in a victory lap.

Stakud: I wouldn’t be celebrating just yet if I were him, in winning this matchup he will move on to fight Fireheart in the Quarter-finals.

Rith: That will be a must-see fight, but right now there are still plenty of contests to go in Round 1 that we will be calling live from the Phoenix Amphitheather. We’re going to take another short break as the next two warriors prepare to do battle in what may be the first evenly matched fight. It’s speed vs. speed when we come back to bring you Urist McUrist vs. Led Warleach.

@BloodBeard: Could we perhaps be able to change our weapon/armour settings if we were to lose?

No but i'm thinking I might change the tournament to be a knockout tourny. 31 is a hell of alot of fights and will take a pretty long time to get through. If this were to happen then the people with poor equipment choices won't have to lose repeatedly. When the tourny is over i'll be able to hand pick certain matches to give people with poor equipment choices a chance.

I wouldn't count the heavy armour dwarves out just yet, in all the test matches i've done with heavy armour vs. heavy armour the matches go on for a long time and they gain lots of experience. They just need time to rev up.

The Phoenix Opening: Round 1

Match 1: Fireheart vs. Biblet “The Superior”

Announcer 1: Hello and welcome to The Phoenix Opening, I’m Rith Rithdur.

Announcer 2: And I’m Stakud Oslannicat.

Rith: We’re here live at the great Phoenix Amphitheater to kick off what can only be described as the embodiment of dwarven culture, dwarves chugging down a barrel of beer with their comrades and then bashing each others heads in.

Stakud: That’s right and we’re here to give you live front row coverage of these great bouts from the side press box, can we get a shot of this view?

Spoiler: Shot (click to show/hide)

Stakud: There we are, what a great view of the arena we have here.

Rith: I’ve heard some dwarves call the seats on this level the ‘limb seats’.

Stakud: I know I’ve got my catchers mitt!

Rith: I’m sure you do. Anyways, I think we’re about to begin. We start off as always with the dwarven national anthem. Here comes the dwarf with an elf, and there goes the elf’s head, so concluding the dwarven national anthem.

Stakud: That was beautifully done…

Rith: Yes, yes it was, but we must not dwell because Round 1 of The Phoenix Opening has officially begun. In our first match up we have two dwarves with very different approaches to fighting, speed and quality vs. brute defense. I think I see the first competitor entering the arena; yes it’s Fireheart Covenguilds!

Spoiler: Fireheart (click to show/hide)

Stakud: The crowd is roaring with excitement! *Gets up and screams*

Rith: Fireheart has chosen to fight with the sword and with limited armour. The extra speed could work to his advantage but he has got to watch he doesn’t allow any good hits on his unprotected limbs. By this new roaring of excitement I can only guess that Firehearts opponent Biblet “The Superior” Greatlance has entered the arena. Stakud, will you please sit the hell down?

Spoiler: Biblet (click to show/hide)

Stakud: Come on Rith, Aren’t you EXCITED?

Rith: …Biblet has entered the arena and is trying to work the crowd up. Fireheart however is all business and waiting patiently for the match to begin. Biblet has chosen to fight with the axe and defend himself with all kinds of heavy armaments. It really seems to slow him down; I hope he can keep up with Fireheart.

Stakud: I’m not quite ready to make a prediction on this fight, in my opinion it could go either way. Fireheart is going to have to work hard to crack Biblets defense and Biblet is going to have a hard time trying to get a hit on Fireheart. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.

Rith: It looks like we won’t have to wait any longer, the signal to start had been given and Fireheart is wasting no time in sprinting towards Biblet! Biblet is also making a charge but that armour is really slowing him down. Here comes Fireheart, and there goes Biblet a with swing of his axe, but he misses! Fireheart catches Biblet in the right arm before plowing into him, knocking Biblet off balance and sending him sprawling to the ground!

Stakud: Biblet didn’t like that and he is fuming!

Rith: Fireheart, taking advantage of Biblet on the ground is chopping away with his sword, trying to find a weak point and OH NO! Biblet has lot his battle axe! I think Fireheart got in a very damaging hit on his right hand!

Stakud: This isn’t good for Biblet! He’s just laying there with his shield up while Fireheart is hammering away on him!

Rith: Fireheart is now concentrating on trying to take out Biblets legs, oh god he’s getting through! OH! With a heavy swing of his sword Fireheart has just chopped Biblets leg clean off!

Stakud: Biblet has got to be feeling that one…

Rith: I don’t think so, I can’t tell but I think Biblet has passed out. Fireheart, now trying to finish this is attacking ferociously, doing all sorts of damage.

Stakud: Wait, where is he going?

Rith: Fireheart is walking away from Biblet to the center of the arena, taking a ’breather’ if you will. Let me remind you that Biblet is still alive, barely. Fireheart should really do the honorable thing and finish him off.

Stakud: Yes, I just hope that he isn’t conscious right now.

Rith: Fireheart seems to have finished his little stroll around the arena and has gone back to his assault, and there is the killing blow. Fireheart has defeated Biblet “The Superior” in what can only be described a one-sided fight to move on to the Quarter-finals.

Stakud: Agreed, Biblet wasn’t in this fight at ALL. He got in that one missed swing at the beginning, but that was all he did. Fireheart, with his superior speed completely overwhelmed him.

Rith: Yes and here comes the cleaning crew to haul away Biblets body to the Phoenix Chamber, hopefully when is revived we can get him to come here and tell us his thoughts on the fight. Fireheart however sustained no injuries and will be watching the rest of the fights from the winners box high up in the Phoenix Amphitheater. We’re going to take a short break now while we wait for the next match to begin. You don’t want to miss it as Olon "WorkerDrone" Ironglove takes on Diego "The Smasha" Glazesoared in what could be another Agility vs. Defense match-up. Though Diego has chosen limited armour like Fireheart his equipment is not nearly as high of quality, so we will see how that fight goes.

To see a video of the fight click here.

Fireheart is now a 1st Degree Swordsdwarf and will walk away with at least 100☼ at the end of the tournament. Other updates will have more then one fight, I just wanted to get a nice big one in for the start.
