My silly fugal tarkov lifehack was to go into the raid with a akwhatever with a big mag (65 shots or 97), insured, nothing else.
Run around, mag dump the first person i see, if I get a kill, grab everything they have (time to scav-larp) and throw the used gun into the brush.

There is a single player mode I really enjoyed, its called switching to the server that has the least people - but they disabled that, partly - before I could play on like "south korea/Northpole" now its limited - that was honestly quite fun and I look forward to that.

Game kinda lost me - there are cheaters, desyncs, people that play 24/7 and got everything - its fun while you loot and get used to it, but after a wipe i just dont have the energy to run to that fucking truck and go for the watch just to be shot or to spend 28 minutes on a map then die in the last 2 minutes by a guy sitting in escape. Honestly I think it would be far better if the market was unlocked for everyone without griding quests early on, its the only fun part you can consistenly make some wins on.
At this point, I'd say EScape from Tarkov is only for people who have there 3-4 friends group that wants to play it with them - all you tend to meet is just that, groups everywhere & people who cheat (single)

A alternative playmode (like speedrunning) can create a difference expierence - just like some people like the punishment of rogue likes, some enjoy the closer connection nuzlock provides - a bit like playing like when you where a kid.

Thanks mate, your game really brought me great joy, especially while stuck with slow internet & slow hardware at some point, it was a great help. I love the exploration aspects especially and my favourit was properly the "very meta"-room.

I played around with fire explosions and you either use it with worthless trash (thats somehow sacred, so maybe 2 nation choices per age) or you pick units with natural fire resistance - explosions that trigger your own sacred unit rarly have a net postive outcome.
I want it to work, but heat aura on trash is just as effective as exploding trash... and far more consistent.
Damage is limited by the limp hit, so for example you take 999 damage to your arm, its gone and you take like 17 actual damage. So for your question, I am giving a uneducated: There is no way to ensure they all take the full damage

I feel vegetation in games is very rarely well done. Colors are weirds, sensations are lacking.
Not only FPS style, but also top down, isometric etc.
This is why i generally dislike games in forest or similar biomes, whatever the genre, even if i like the game’s mechanics.
Some example are The Forest, Zombasite, Green Hell...
Also, it’s "boring", a lot of the survival games do the "forest" thing : cut trees, gather leaves, build wooden walls, etc.
I’d like a dry or weird environment, with other and new ways to survive and thrive.

I also got it with humble bundle, but I went into it a bit and its like ss13 lite/submarine edition and thats quite fun.
I mostly play prisoner transport, where (if players are up to it) the prisoners have to escape and the crew has to get the prisoners to the end of the map without them all dieing - chaos happens inbetween mostly.

I like what big black holes do to each other if you got more then one.

« on: November 08, 2020, 01:02:39 am »I found Conan Exiles interesting but I ended up not continuing playing because I didn't really find any players to play with and I'm too shy to engage people.
Same... also it feels a bit grindy towards the mid/lategame. At the end of the day I found 7daystodie multiplayer to be more exiting. I stoped singleplayer once I relized NPC slaves take a day+ to break and then you still need to get gear for them. Its very fun to adjust your movement speed and fling yoursself across the map to explore a bit, it is very pretty.
