I think this is not true - at least human nose stops detecting smells prety quickly. If you stand in front of cake, you can smell it. But after few minutes, you can not smell it even when your head is directly above it. I believe it is defence mechanism - so even if you are flowerfield, you could find smelly enemies.

Also what about Thai couisine? Bugs are normal source of food - not all cultures find them digusting.

Or what do you thing about cats and kittens in game? One of bests sources of leather a meat?

Random Request: (may not be possible) Have an ejectable room with a small farm plot and brewery inside.

Every outside room can be ejected ... with a pick ... I doubt that dwarves will survive landing.

HAL 1500 was build by Asimov's friend Clarke to be ultimate dice player. As Clarke slowly upgraded HAL 1500 gained bits of personality a tends to use to make everybody nervous. He is a friend of all plants. He is a foe of Dave.

There is one really important thing - will the caravan be automated or could you control what contracts they accept and modify them? If not, your caravan will come back with tons of finished goods, etc.

It it somehow possible to reserve some resources for specific dwarf? I hate when my dwarves take materials in workshop, then decides to go for drink and immidiately come some haulers and take his stuff away.

Even better is when this happens in early stage of game when I have no beds and dwarf falls asleep in his workshop. And haulers quitely take his materials to not wake him up.
